Prior to recieving a coupon for this restaturant I had never heard of the place before. I honestly only stopped at this restaurant because I recieved a coupon for a free pasta dish. I chose to redeem my offer by using their take out services but dining in was also a option. This restaurant is located right in the same building as planet hollywood. Once you enter the building you take an elevator up to the restaurant. Since I chose take out I was directed to the bar area. This is where I met the most friendliest bartender ever. He was extremely polite and advised me that I didnt need to order anything else because the portion I was recieving was more than enough for one meal. He was just as helpful with everyone who entered his area. He was very honest and upfront about food options and portion sizes as well. Unfortunately, not everyone was a pleasant as James the bartender. The person that brought my take out to me was courteous when serving me initially. However, when he went to retrieve the items to complete my order he seemed to forget about me. Of course James apologized for the person and helped meto resolve my issue. Once I got home I saw that James was exact in his statemant about the portion sizing. My dish was more than enough for 2-3 meals. I have only tried the baked ziti but it was delicious with the right amount of cheesy deliciousness. Id definitely return to try other dishes in the future and hopefully Im serviced by James or someone just as great.

If you want overpriced, mediocre Italian served in massive portions with inattentive waitstaff, go ahead! The small portion we were told would serve 1-2 people (dishes are all served family-style) - more like 3 people plus leftovers! The salad was similarly large and there were no smaller portions available for garlic bread (which had WAYYYY too much garlic) so we ended up with an entire loaf of bread (those giant half loaves you buy at the grocery store that are about 16 inches long and hand span wide) - we had planned on giving the leftovers to some homeless people on the way back to the hotel but the waiter didnt even ASK if we wanted it wrapped up. He largely ignored us to the point we had to give up and get our own water after waiting 15 minutes for the waiter to come back. Our bill took much longer than it should have to arrive and he never really thanked us for coming. Unfortunately the food was as bad as the service. The salad (apple walnut) wasnt awful (though it would have been better with romaine rather than iceberg lettuce) but the penne alla vodka really tasted like a rose sauce with a bit of extra sugar in it - flavour totally fell flat, and as I mentioned the garlic bread had way too much garlic. After that disappointing beginning we had no taste for dessert. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone - save yourself the cash and make it at home (I guarantee itll taste better!)

My mom wanted to go here for her birthday, so we went. We ordered the mozarella bread and the mixed greens salad. The salad came very quickly and was delicious but it wasnt until about 15 mins later that we got our bread and it was way overcooked and hard as a rock! We then ordered the Veal Saltimboca, the Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken and a side of Fetticine Alfredo. We got the 2 main dishes but no alfredo. When we asked our waiter how much longer for the alfredo we were informed that we never ordered it! I told him maybe he forgot because he didnt write anything down and got stopped a couple times before he made it to the machine to put it in. He told me no, we didnt order it but hell put it now. So we started eating our dinner (or at least tried to). The veal was so tough and overcooked, I couldnt saw a piece off to even try it! My mom was able to barely cut through hers, but couldnt chew it. We had to send it back and get a new order out. The new order was marginally better so we just ate it but I do have to say the sauce was wonderful. The chicken was ok but not the best Ive had by a long shot. The alfredo took so long to come out that we didnt even want it anymore. So all in all, this was not a good experience and we will never come back. My mom describes it as the worst birthday dinner she has ever had!

Eh - Youre better off going to a real NYC family style restaurant. Prices are about the same and the food at the other establishments is way more authentic. I suggest Carmines or Tonys Di Napoli over this chain premade Italian knock-off. Most items on the menu are breaded and/or fried and even with a reservation we were made to wait 30+ minutes for our table. Had to ask for silverware for the table, and only received for the person that asked and not the other people who didnt have any. Wine glasses were dirty - not talking about lipstick, but actual food stuck to the glasses. Food was OK, but really nothing special. It was just food... and not an experience, if that makes sense. Anyway, if friends insist on going there I may go back, but Ill do my best to talk them into one of the other aforementioned Family Style Italian restaurants if at all possible. R

Genial!!!

Im sending this email in regards to a horrible dining experience I had this evening. We were seated at a table in a corner by a pole. After asking for a new table and even offering to wait. In order for anybody to walk by they had to bump our table and servers with dirty dishes would have to cross the dishes over our table to get out of the room. I ordered a draft beer from the bar but was told there was no draft beer today. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. Our food came out before our drinks were even brought to the table. The pasta and bread were average at best. The pasta was over cooked and the bread was dry and seemed stale tasting. Our server was great. He kept trying to make it a good experience. None of our problems were his fault.

They served starters - Bruschetta, Caprese and Entree - Pizza and Pasta (all Large portions) all together at the same time. We were expecting starters first and then Entree. The bread was also cold and server said it was made only 20 minutes back. The thing is you dont serve 20 minutes old bread as it will become cold and stale. The manager did not do anything when we complained and just said since the kitchen would be closing soon so they made everything together. They did not inform this when they were taking the order. It was also very expensive as we ended up paying $150 for the food (no drinks)
