In the hustle and bustle of life in the Hamilton/Robbinsville area you may drive right by this restaurant. Yet, its a hidden gem. The interior is not extravagant, the menu is partially up on signs like a Chinese take-out restaurant, and the ventilation could be better. BUT....the food is fantastic, the fresh sauces are divine, and the guys that run it are friendly and kind. Ive seen people of a wide variety of ethnicities eating at this restaurant that serves a mix of Afghani, Indian, and Greek dishes. Ive seen young and old, couples to large groups of families and friends and people eating alone. While you can dine in, many people take-out. The tables are simple booths and the wait is a tad long. But the food is cooked fresh so its worth the wait. Give it a try. Im already hooked.

The Beef Seekh is a delicious choice. The meat is so tender and flavorful by itself but the green sauce (a little spicy) really took it to flavor town. The yogurt sauce was my friends favorite. The rice, pita, and salad that comes with the dish was all delicious and fresh too. I havent had Afghan food this tasty/authentic since my Afghan friend cooked for me! The guys that run the place are kind and attentive. You order and pay at the counter but they bring the food to the table and clear it. There are brightly colored booths and traditional wall hangings and pictures all around. Not fancy, but it sets the right tone. Ill definitely be back with more friends!

I got the tandoori chicken. It was pretty good- well seasoned, grilled to my preference, the rice it came with was excellent. My only complaint was that the chapli kebabs, which I also ate, was really dry. Also the naan, a flat bread, was excellent. If you eat here just ignore the chapli/seek kebabs and you will be very happy! Also, if any staff member is reading this, try to give some extra rice with the kebab platters both taste even better together and running out of 1 before the other lessens the dish remaining.

We got take out from here and it was really good although we thought the meat portions were a little small for the price. Food was fresh and tasty. The order was supposed to be ready in 15 mins but I ended up waiting an additional 30-35 mins for the order. Friendly staff but they just seemed really disorganized; I had to continually confirm my order while I waited and I kept hearing them repeat orders again from other patrons that ordered. Even though the food was good Im a bit reluctant to go back.

I absolutely it! Honestly, I would try any of their items. Very fresh and the taste is delicious. They even give an awesome salad and amazing afghan bread if you order any of the kabob entrees. My recommendation is to get the chicken tikka kabob entree. They also have a nice catering menu if youre considering that as well. Definitely coming back here asap and will continue to eat here often!

The customer service was horrible but the food was okay. I walked in with my family and we were not greeted by even one person and after giving our order and than after receiving the food and eating nobody even asked if we needed anything or said "hi how are you". We will never go back due to the lack of customer service and would not recommend it to anyone.

The food is excellent/large portions. This is one of the best flavorful food I ever tasted. Try the chicken and lamb kabob entree and the sambusas. I love everything about this place. The customer service was great 2. If I could I would give 10 stars. I am a very very picky person so for me to say the food is Great takes a lot believe me. Try it!

Just tried this place for the first time for dinner. I got the lamb gyro platter. The lamb is seasoned well and moist. The rice is fragrant and unlike any rice Ive ever had. Even the sauces (yogurt and green spicy) were top notch. It was plenty of food for under 10 dollars. I will be back!

You have got to try this place. Very friendly service and super tasty food. The first time i went in they included a bonus meat so I could try a variety. The rice they serve with most meals is so tasty. I encourage everyone to reach past their comfort zone and go try some Afgani.

We are from Frederick MD visiting friends and thoroughly enjoyed the food! We ordered the Sample Kabob (#11) and it was plenty for the 6 of us. Great flavors and the service was friendly - felt like we were being served by friends. Definitely a great spot.

The food here is outstanding! If it is crowded there can be a wait. Id opt for takeout, but if you choose to dine in wear washable casual clothes because the ventilation is not very good and the place can get pretty smoky from the grill.

Great tasting food! We tried Chapli Kabob, Beef Seekh Kabob, and Lamp Chops. All items were great tasting and delicious. Best Afghani/Pakistani cuisine in town. Far better than Shalimar, ShahNawaz in Edison, NJ.

Amazing hummus, curried chickpeas, and samosa. Several vegetarian and vegan items on the menu. Casual setting with Afghan art on the walls. Everything is reasonably priced. Try the Afghan green tea!

Food is awesome here. Their bread, rice, chutney are really good. Samosa chat was out of this world. Staff is pleasant and friendly. Will be going there more often with family and friends.

loved walking in to this smoky grill restaurant. The kabobs had a lot of flavor. The service was cordial, not fast but I rather have slow good food than fast food with no care put into it.
