My fiancée and I got breakfast here 9/3..we were looking for a good breakfast spot Im boston ( 1 with pancakes, french toast, the whole 9) & upon digging for a couple days.. bristol lounge and Mikes city diner were the final 2.. we decided to go to bristol lounge - located right across the street from Boston commons, inside the four Seasons hotel..this is an upscale restaurant serving breakfast/lunch/dinner.. The service was top notch very polite, friendly, and attentive. The food was very very good(pricey for being breakfast food but what do you expect when it sits inside a hotel) We got pancakes, french toast, and a side of bacon. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience.. final thoughts.. if you dont mind the prices , you should try out Bristol lounge.. if you want the old fashioned, country atmosphere, less expensive breakfast - go to mikes city diner (located in south end off of mass ave)

We typically go to Sunday brunch at the Langham Hotel, but wanted a change. What a disappointment considering they are exactly the same price ($68 pp). What we got was a bar area that they set up with a few bridge tables and call it brunch. What a joke! They had an omelette station and some prime rib, but little else and what they did have was just so so except for the chocolate chip pancakes, which were exceptional! The wait staff was also just okay until we complained to the assistant manager and then things perked up. While this might be a nice place for breakfast if you are staying at the hotel it is sub-par as a real brunch. Trust me and skip this one and head over to the Langham where we have been going for years as the Four Seasons certainly doesnt live up to its reputation where brunch is concerned.

Located within the Four Seasons Hotel (left as youre entering), Bristol offers a cozy atmosphere, a great view of Boylston St., attentive service, and delicious fares. My date and I arrived at this location during a quiet early evening, and were seated adjacent to one of the large windows, allowing for a scenic backdrop to our meal. Our waiter was very polite, friendly, and efficient with orders. I would highly recommend this location to anyone from outside the Boston area - its a great place for a drink or meal located in a bustling area.

I had a great dinner experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, perfect after a long day. I tried their duck duo and it is wonderful. They create a crispy skin on the pieces of duck. Savor that crispy skin slowly because it is absolutely delicious. A thin layer of duck fat bonds the skin with the slightly cooked meat. Duck fat has a special, juicy-meat taste. Make sure to try their mussels appetizer; it is a great way to start the meal.

I came across this place on accident and it looked interesting from the outside so I figured I would check it out. They had an interesting list of mixed drinks so I opted to skip a beer and go for one of those. The service is quick and the clientele is a nice mix. It is a very social place where it was full but not overcrowded. Its the perfect spot for a quick drink where you might get sucked in or where you have other near by options to continue your night.

THEY MAKE IT EASY TO BE LAZY..........when were in Boston three or four times/year, this is our default restaurant. Im not proud to say that we get kind of lazy and its simply easy to have Lunch or tea or supper there. And its comfortable and the food is good and the service is good and theres never a hassle. We make an effort to leave the hotel for dinner but for other times, its the Bristol Lounge.....hands down.

Im here visiting from Chicago and I had such a pleasant experience. Not only was the food great but I had a young man, I think his name is Mustafa, if Im not mistaken, not only helped me with the menu but also helped me with directions around Boston. I definitely recommend this place prices are great and staff is excellent. I will definitely be back again.

I had lunch at the BL on 8/5/15. I ordered the Bristol Burger, as its one of the lounges signature offerings. It was perfection. Flavorful, juicy and seasoned just right. No need for condiments of any kind. Its also quite filling, I ate half and carried the remainder home. Service was excellent too. I will definitely return.

Good space for late night dining, relaxing couches. Brunch is delicious here as are the late night dessert buffets! Good place if looking for something classy and low key. Nice place to have a group of friends also, lots of room to move around. Went for a party once and it was great.

Excellent atmosphere...Great wine selection...Super comfortable... Unbelievably, we got parking directly outside - twice...About $25 for the burger, and once you finish, you will think to yourself, "I would definitely do that again"...Just a great place to unwind after an event.

Great spot for meeting lots of people before the theater or while shopping. Menu is versatile so you dont have to spend tons of $ and still get a good meal...like their burger. Informal and friendly spot, great location for shops and theaters.

A warm oasis on a blustery, New England Day. The Bristol at The Four Seasons was a clean and attractive location. I found the service to be prompt, responsive & attentive. Thank you for a wonderful visit this Holiday Season.

Redesigned from the "good ole days" it is still a classic, but it is too bad they did not make the bar bigger when they had the chance. It will be hard to compete against other local options.

Had their brunch here, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food was great. Super place to go for a once-in-a-while fancy meal.

Service was fine, but the food was awful. The menu is quite awkward, trying to be something they are not.
