Hello everyone. I normally only go when I have a coupon. They really need to change up the menu. I miss them having the little corn dogs and cheese sandwiches. I hate to say it but I dont agree with people about Orman. To me he is very loud and annoying. If I ever sit in his section, I get up and leave. He speaks sp loud that I hear him on the other side of the room. He plays up to the guests for bigger tips. I would leave him a tip if he just shut up. Another thing that bothers me is tips. They sign our receipt and maybe pick up two plates in passed. We get our own drinks and serve our own food. Taking a plate off the table does not constitute a tip in my opinion. I want to say that I always leave a tip of no less than three bucks. I do this because I know that is how they make a living. I just feel that if Im leaving a tip, I should do it because of the service they do. Honestly I think the people behind the scenes work a lot harder than the wait staff.

We Love coming to your restaurant but your bathrooms could be cleaner and smell better, you would really benefit from adding some more food tables and a bigger variety of food but I do want to say you do have some awesome employees especially the older African American gentleman I am sorry I forgot his name but every time I see him he is happy and smiling and taking such GREAT Care of your customers all the time does he ever have a bad day if he does his customers would never know it. Also one more thing it actually its about my favorite location its to you your coupons you send out to us for our Birthdays why do you have them expire way before the persons Birthday it makes no sense then if they want to actually want to go out on their Birthday the coupon has already expired it should not expire until after your Birthday and they should actually have all month to use it so they have a bigger time frame to use it Well Thanks for Listening Laurie Campuzano

Awful employees. Juanita was extremely abrasive and distasteful. She was asked when the meatloaf would be brought out and instead of asking the cook replied rudely with well I dont know. Then when asked if the desserts were made in house replied with, "whats that supposed to mean?" It means what i adked Juanita. The bathrooms were atrocious, urine toilet paper and human feces everywhere. The trasg was full. As soon as you walk in to the main entrance there is garbage everywhere and food on the floors. The food was awful and had no taste. Management was nowhere to be found and when asked, the employees didnt even know who the manager was. The exit door had a broken of handle and the sharp edges were simple tapes off. The tables were disgusting and the clientele here was like something from a Stephen king book. Absolutely dissatisfied.

I have to say that the Old Country Buffets are not what there were 20 or even 9 years ago. I remember when they had so many selections to choose from it was hard to pick one. The food was high quality and really good. The breakfast was outstanding and the lunch/dinner was AWSOME. All for a reasonable price with no complaints. What the corporation did to sink these places down was that they dropped the breakfast down to 5 dollars not including the drink and 10 dollars for lunch/dinner. Once they did that then the food was not good and no good varieties anymore. It was the basic tasteless food items you would find at a hospital cafeteria. The corporation did a "NOT TO SMART BUISNESS MOVE". That was basically what sunk these restaurants. Well, the saying goes" Nothing stays great forever". Everything changes.

This place needs a complete make over for the top down. As you walk in you can all ready smell the carpeting that is stained with old food. The bathroom are horrible and need to update with new fixtures. The shake machine is about the worst. The minute you go to use it, it blows out all over your clothes. User beware. And it is always dirty. The ceiling and air vents are dirty and full of dust. This would be a great place to bring the family, if some big changes would be made. And to make matters worse the air conditioning was not working.

I had a HORRIBLE experience during my visit....went to get my plate, fixed it up and had a roach in my food....showed the worker and asked for a manager and his response to me was do I want another plate...I was furious! The manager never offered me an apology or anything...it wasnt until I had to get loud with another worker, who was unaware of what happened, who offered me an apology and full refund! This manager never changed the food containers but allowed the people to continue eating out of them...

My family and I stopped at the Old Country Buffet in Highland, Indiana after picking apples at an Indiana farm. I like Old Country Buffet primarily because of the variety of foods from which to choose. The food is fresh and servers constantly monitor the food to replenish and keep the food areas clean. My only slight negative is there are not enough wait staff available on the floor to clear away used plates and utensils. Other than that, it was a great experience.

I took my kids out for dinner.... Everything was OK until I went and grabbed a piece of chicken and it was a piece of hair in.the GM came to my table and apologies (I GUESS) and offered me a free meal.....BUT SHE NEVER CAME BACK TO MY TABLE WHEN SHE TOOK THE HAIRY CHICKEN AWAY. They need to close down for a week and DEEP CLEAN. I havent been to OCB in a looooong time (THE ONE IN RIVEROAKS WAS THE BOMB) OH WELL I GUESS I WONT BE COMING BACK EVER!!!!!!!!!!

I went here with a friend. I havent been to a location in years since theyve closed down in the Chicagoland. When I went to this location, it was overpriced, not much of a variety, and they forgot to cook the food! My friend wanted pot roast and steak, and it was damn near raw. Im glad he didnt eat it because he would have gotten sick and they would have been served with a lawsuit. However, the service was good and desert was good.

We have been there MANY times over the last 7 or so years and have generally had a pleasant experience. Occasionally, there is a glitch BUT it has ALWAYS been taken care of. Considering all things, it is not an unreasonable price for what you get. Eating at the next level of restaurants will probably cost you 50% + more, so, we feel you get what you pay for these days.
