First to families with small children: their policy is high chairs must occupy one of the "seats" at the table, and cannot be placed at either end of the table. This was frustrating for me, though with how tightly the tables are packed in there, I can understand the safety issue; especially with their lower tier servers (not all of them are bad, but some are rude and offer poor service). Second issue applies to everyone (but especially to families with kids): the lids to their to-go cups DO NOT fit properly and my daughters first drink spilled all over our table as soon as she picked it up. Third issue applies to anyone visiting there: SOME of their servers are *incredibly* rude. Our experience was while I was consoling my daughter after her drink spilled. I was standing out of the way of our server, who was cleaning it up, and one "waitress" came by in the lead of a birthday singing group. She didnt stop, but pushed past me yelling "ex-CUSE me", and bumped me (holding my three year old) out of my way when I wasnt quick enough to find the small spaces between tables to step out of her way. After all these causing a bad start, I was done. We got up to leave, and a manager approached, apologized profusely after I told him why we were leaving, offered to comp our appetizers, and proceeded to handle, and check-in on, our table through the meal. Our actual server was polite, available, and attentive. The prices are fair, portions plenty, and we ended our meal on a positive note. May be a long while before we go back. They may be best classified best for adults and large parties of adults, but not as comfortable for families.

My husband and I just moved to the area and decided to try this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The parking lot was packed and the restaurant was too so we thought perhaps the food might be OK. My husband ordered a ribeye well done with a baked potato. I ordered a combination dinner with fried catfish and oysters. The ribeye was undercooked, not at all well done. But the worst part, was the catfish! The catfish that I was served tasted like dirty, soured, mop water! In the past 40 years I have eaten plenty of catfish from restaurants and freshly caught, and never have I eaten catfish that tasted this disgusting! I didnt finish my meal, and when I told my waitress about the fish her response was that here, I assume she means in Georgia, the cat fish taste like mud. She went on to explain how catfish are bottom feeders, as though I would not be aware of this. Regardless of where catfish feed, bottom top or wherever, this cat fish tasted like it had been sitting in nasty mop water. I even had my husband taste it and he promptly spit it out on his plate and looked like he was going to throw up. Not Once was the offer made to correct this problem and I was charged full price for my uneaten meal. I do not recommend anyone eat at this restaurant if actual, fresh, real seafood and fish is what youre looking for.

Coming to this place was the biggest mistake ever. Me and my sister decided to take my mother for her bday to this restaurant because she loves the Seabreeze out in Douglasville but this one just happened to be closer to us. When I was eating my salad I found a long piece of blondish red hair (definitely wasnt mine, my hair is black). Talked with the supervisor and all he did was come to the table and take the plate. He didnt even apologize for what happened or shown any empathy for the situation. It was as if he didnt even care. He didnt even come back to the table to apologize or check on us. He sat around standing on the wall not doing anything the entire time and when I talked to him he said he was busy. He told me it is my perogative not his. And that was coming from the manager..please BEWARE when coming here. The story is actually a lot longer but I have to cut it down a bit. The worst part was they didnt even try to compensate the meal on the hair issue. Not even taking the salad off of the ticket. Then the busboy trips and spill the drinks all over my mom. This is no exaggeration people. And the manager again does nothing...WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!

I went to Bay Breeze for a coworkers birthday yesterday June 30th. I was running late, and when I arrived they were eating/packing up. One of the ladies was ordering a to go order, so I figured I would do the same. I placed my order and waited, and waited, and waited some more. They came did the birthday song and all still no food. A party was seated next to use, they ordered and food came. Our waiter said you havent got your food, I said no. She said let me go check. I said dont worry about it, she said let me go see if it been made. But goes to another table and starts taking their order. As my party is leaving. So I tap her on the shoulder and say dont worry about it Im about to go. She said again let me go check. I say to her you forgot to put the order in and thats OK, she smiled and said I didnt. After another 5-7mins she come back with food in a Togo bag and said its been sitting up there, dont worry about it. But guess what???? I WASNT MY ORDER!!! They tried to bag something up real quick to give me something. I will never go back. Just be honest when a mistake it made.

Well we had a celebration for my mom. It was a good day. The sun was shining and the bay breeze was PACKED!. Man o man this place opens at 3 on saturdays and we got there at 240 for our reservation and it was already lines outside...it was my first time there and I was wondering wth was the commotion...now I must say that it was 320 before they had our table ready and had only one waitress for about 20 people...that wasnt good...but they ended up giving us another waitress...but she did a great job...Their names were Nicole and Shantae...good smiling people...even with all the fussing people in my party it was still smiles and she tried her best to cater to our needs...the prices were awesome for the amount of food...I dont recommend the popcorn shrimp though...but the fried mushrooms(first time having and hates mushrooms) were AWESOME! So yes I would recommend this place to someone else...but I do hope they do better with the service when they know people line up just to eat...

Today(11/03/15), I ordered the lunch catfish and when I arrived to pick it up, a supervisor (I assume because she was not wearing a polo) went to the back a to get my food. She showed me the food and then quickly told me I had too much food for the lunch plate and took the food to the back before I could say anything. It was 4 pieces of fillet. This was not my fault and I dont appreciate her taking my food to the back to take off 1 piece of fish. This was unprofessional and what was she going to do with the 1 piece of already cooked fish? As well, I dont like that there were now additional hands all over my food. I am mad that I had already paid for my food and accepted the food. She did not apologize for their mistake or say anything when she brought my food back out. My food was not good and Im very disappointed and will not be back again anytime soon.
