Whenever I ordered RiceMac through Grubhub, I would always order the Hibachi Tofu, extra tofu and no veggies with no problem. Deciding to save money on delivery, I started opting for the pickup option--meaning goodbye Grubhub and ordering via the phone. Honestly, Id never thought Id miss Grubhub until I started to experience RiceMacs customer service. Not only do they not allow me to order extra tofu, but they are extremely passive aggressive in their service. When I asked why I could not order extra tofu, I was met with the response that the owner wasnt there. Fair enough. However once I picked up my order, not only did they include vegetables in my order (after me asking for them not to), they put the tofu in the smallest compartment of their plastic tray--a first as they usually put the tofu in the medium size compartment. Ive worked in service and know that some people can be rude and you just want to stick it to them by messing up their order. But I was not rude in asking why I couldnt order extra tofu and putting the tofu in the smallest compartment is just plain malicious. Will not return--Every phone order that Ive placed has resulted in one way or another my order getting messed up. I dont think my hungry college self can handle anymore of RiceMac.

I went to this location because a couple of my coworkers suggested it. I called before hand to place my order. While placing my order I distinctly said I WANT The hibachi shrimp and chicken please No mushrooms because I am ALLERGIC. The guy taking my order repeated what I said! I GET THERE TO PICK UP MY ORDER everything looked fine. Once I arrived at my destination I looked in my food, and what do I see, MUSHROOMS DOWN UNDER MY VEGGIES. I WAS SOOO UPSET SO I CALLED THEM INFORMED THEM OF THE MISTAKE. SO INSTEAD OF SAYING IM SORRY FOR THAT WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT....THIS MAN SAYS CAN YOU COME BACK...I SAID NOO IM AT MY DESTINATION TO FAR AWAY. THEN HE SAYS OK WELL WE WILL GIVE YOU A "DISCOUNT" the next time you come...huh..discount man that could have been my life and you talking about a freaking 5 to $6 of my next order!!!!! No thank you I prefer to live a long life! Wont ever and I do mean ever visit here again.

The food was great...the customer service was horrible. Decided to use the Scoutmob deal last night to try something new and the cashier was not very friendly at all. He said i had to get soup or salad with hibachi...neither seemed appealing...I asked if i could get crab ragoon instead I would pay the difference ...he said no soup or salad...I picked a soup which wasnt very good. When giving us our food which was to go he brought the bag dropped it on the table and walked off...No heres your food, thanks for checking us out, have a great evening or anything. I left a tip in the jar by the register after paying even though he wasnt friendly and because it was half off....I was tempted to go stick my hand in there and get it back after that. I wont be back.

I ordered delivery. The food was Good. My soup was spilled all over the rest of my order. The entire reason for ordering delivery was to reduce stress and having a Meal! Cant have a meal when my soup is everywhere else. Also, the delivery person yelled at me over the phone. That is not O.K. When I got there with a $20 to pay my $19.15 order and clearly gave him my $20, he asked me for a tip. I said that the order is for less than $20 and I am giving you a $20. He pointed at me and started yelling about wanting a tip. At this point I was going to just turn around and move past this incident. However, when he prompted with a "go ahead and call. motherf***er." I had to share my experience. Definitely do not want to order from here again!!!

Horrible food & overpriced. Lettuce wraps> disgusting, comes with wilted, yellow iceberg lettuce. (See pics) food was purchased < 1hr ago. Since when do lettuce wraps come with iceberg lettuce? The fried rice>chicken and beef DO NOT look like any cut of poultry or beef Ive purchased. To be honest it looks cheap & Resembles the rat meat online that was smuggled into the US. The shrimp inside the house basil was the ONLY meat recognizable but the menu doesnt state that the basil rice is Spicy-_- the chicken wonton soup was the best after all how can you screw up the soup. They have PF Chang prices and ling ling quality food.

I absolutely love the food. I dont normally like rice, but my friend bought me lunch from there one day. To keep from being rude, I tried it. Ive been hooked ever since. The gentleman on the register is very nice. If you call ahead during lunch breaks, he tries to make sure everything is ready when you get there. The rest of the staff are always polite. You can often see the cook in the back just smiling while doing his thing, lol. The food is always fresh and hot. The portions are worth the money. I would recommend Ricemac to anyone looking for good food without a long wait.

I ordered through GrubHub after seeing that they had 4.5 stars, which I now think is completely ridiculous. I only live about 10 minutes away and only ordered two things, but it took almost 3 hours for them to bring me my food. I probably could have overlooked that if the food were at least good, but it wasnt. Everything just tasted kind of off, not like it had gone bad, more just like it was made by someone who was trying to cook for the very first time. Even the rice was so overlooked that it was just mush, which seems ironic since theyre called Rice Mac.

Arrived today at 11:30 a.m. and both entrances were locked. Time on door said they open at 11:00 a.m. Online says they open at 11:00 a.m. So, I called to see what was going on and was told they would not open until 12:00 noon. While I was sitting in my car trying to locate another place for lunch I saw someone walk out with what looked like an order in hand. WTH? This was my first visit and I will probably not return. I drove across the street and had a fabulous meal at Saigon Cafe. Service was exceptional and the place was really cute and clean.

Last night we had another uncomfortable experience at Rice Mac. My wife and I walked in to place our order and the staff person at the register was very stern, bordering mean. I didnt make much of it because I didnt know what was going on with him but I did notice that he treated the Caucasian family that came in after us with smiles and cheer. The first time this happened on a previous visit I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I wasnt sure but this time Im not willing to do that. I will not be returning and I will also tell my friends.

Cool clean and nice meeting place for casual dining. Food was delicious. You can look into the kitchen when walking in front door, it was clean. Staff was very friendly and informative. Every menu item so far has been good.Gyoza is a best as you can get in ATL so far but still looking for homemade style. The plastic containers are awesome for those who arent big eaters and they are microwavable and reusable. Not typical cheap chinese food containers.
