Asked for their Chicken Parmesan with linguini (instead of spaghetti), and received a very LARGE portion of pasta and chicken (the chicken took up three quarters of the large plate). The presentation was spot on (the perfectly browned and melted cheese was the predominate visual element), and it tasted as good as any chicken parm Ive ever had. Friend had spaghetti with meat sauce, and received a LARGE bowl of delicious spaghetti. Neither of us could come close to finishing our meals, and we are both big eaters. Brought the uneaten portion back to the house. Gave some to my father (visiting for holidays, who does not eat much lately and is VERY picky) who tore through it (which is a miracle in and of itself), and I had some for breakfast this morning. Theres still enough left for another decent sized meal, but it probably wont make it to lunch. Its too far away for me to eat there regularly, but it would be my (close) second favorite restaurant (my first favorite is TacoSon, also on 56th Street in Temple Terrace). Matter of fact, they may now be tied for first place. Delicious!!!

If you want Greek this place is great - they have enormous portion sizes and reasonable prices. If you are putting any weight into the fact that their name has the word Italian in it then run in the opposite direction. They do not cook pasta to order... even cheapo chains like Olive Garden do that. I only realized this after receiving my WAY overcooked spaghetti noodles which were bloated as if they had been pre-cooked and sitting in water for half a day or so. The noodles were practically falling apart and were mushy in consistency. When we asked about it, we were informed that this is what they do (cook in advance) and yes they could trade it out but it would be from the same pot of old overcooked pasta. When we asked if they could drop fresh pasta for us they said no - all the pasta is cooked way in advance. Wait, what! Your name says Italian Restaurant but you refuse to cook pasta to order? Stick to what youre good at (Greek) and leave the Italian to people who dont mind cooking pasta to order.

Where do I start? The eggplant parm was mediocre at best. A negligible amount of (if any at all) oregano, thyme, or basil in the sauce. Thank goodness for the cheese on top or otherwise I may have thrown it out. We also got one of the specials, The Seafood Trio. It was served atop very good and tasty spaghetti, but alas, there was no sauce - kind of dry. And speaking of dry, the shrimp and fish were drier than a popcorn fart. Cooked WAY too long. And the scallops were not seared as one might expect, but perhaps steamed. Ive never tasted a scallop with a bitter taste before now. Time to buy some new, fresh scallops guys. I will say that the upgrade ($4.95) of house salad to Greek salad was ALMOST worth the price increase. Very tasty as always. The pita was pretty dang tasty, too. Will I go back? Meh, maybe, but doubtful.

My family and I have enjoyed Stefano for years. Always have a good experience with the service, they really take time to know their repeat customers. Such a wide variety of meals, whether Greek, Italian, Crab Cakes, Black Beans and Yellow Rice....so many options. I frequently take friends and recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to support a local business (Temple Terrace) and not dine in a chain.

I am so in love with Stefanos Greek salad for two that I order one to go every single week. I am a single mom, so sitting in the restaurant only occurs once a month. However, I make sure not to miss my once a week awesomeness to take home and devour. I also call ahead for my to go salad, and they are kind enough to bring right out to my car. Thanks Stefanos peeps for doing it right, every time! Yum!

Freshly made food, a great value, and all freshly made there. The salads, the gyro, the days specials, the deli items...all excellent. And its highly consistent, as theyve had the same wait staff and kitchen staff for years; this place always has regulars coming there for dine-in or take-out. If you make it there, and the avgolemono soup is on the specials board, have it!

This is the best place my boyfriend and I have ever found. We have been back at least 5 times now. The portions are huge. I usually get the grilled chicken alfredo and have enough to take to work for 2 days afterwards. The food is very delicious. The staff is incredibly kind. We come back every time we are in the area. The world needs more Stefanos and less Olive Gardens!

This place is amazeballs and proves the old adage "quantity over quality" is crap. The servings are YUGE and very good. Had a chicken parm sandwich and it was hearty and probably some of the best Ive had. Very reasonable prices and laid back. As in, real laid back. Like mullet with mesh tank top and Jean cut off shorts laid back. One of the best restaurants in the area.

I have been looking all over Florida for authentic food. We found it. Place was clean and had a great selection. All the food was home made, delicious, and more than you can eat and all at a great price. The staff is very courteous and friendly. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and will return myself.

The food is very good. We are treated well and our orders are always correct. I always take home leftovers for the next day as the portions are quite large. That way I dont have to cook for another day. Love all the vegetarian options. The fish is good as well as the eggplant. Really cant beat this restaurant.

BIG servings. Almost too big, really... Quaint place, not fancy a atmosphere. Nice servers, owned by Albanians who know how to do both Italian and Greek equally well. I personally like the Greek food better. Youll have to ask for to-go containers at the end of the meal unless you eat like Attila-the-Hun.

We accidentally found this delight. (In town to catch a cruise ship.) I had the meatball sub, husband the veal parmigiana. Superb! Portions were generous. Loved that they gave us options to sub a veggie for the pasta and a fruit cup for the french fries. Our waitress was attentive, yet not obtrusive.

No clue how this place has 4 stars. Only plus are the portions and the pita bread. Shrimp alfredo was a gooey gummy mess. Left it on the plate. Service consisted of family members screaming at eachother in the wide open kitchen door. Chicken was fresh from a frozen bag then microwaved.
