It happens... you order salsa verde on your enchiladas but they serve you the red sauce. I accepted the plate anyway but the enchilada sauce was horrible: sweeter than ketchup. The menu does not specify that the Bistek de Diablo is steak that has been chopped up. When it is served, it looks like it went through a mulcher. It was a steaming hot pile of mystery contents. (Its like a pinata: you dont know what is in it until you open it.) The Carne Asada was over cooked: you may as well get a bag of charcoal from Walmart. It is cheaper and probably better. Again, stuff happens: you order chicken quesodillas but you get cheese quesodillas instead. The waiter corrected the error but the chicken was over salted and the cheese had a weird texture and taste. Eight of dined and ordered eight different menu items and not a single serving justifies a positive review. (The chips and salsa are about the only thing you can count on in this restaurant.)

I was disappointed in my choice for lunch. It was a special that included a taco, burrito, and enchilada. In my opinion it was bland and the taco and burrito had tasteless ground beef. I couldnt taste any seasonings on any part of the meal. The plate was just ground beef in a burrito ( I was expecting beans, rice something besides just ground beef), cheese in a corn taco? and red enchilada sauce poured over both. The taco shell had ground beef in it laying on some lettuce. As far as price, it was priced right. I would go back and try something thats not a bargain lunch special.

Horrible food, beware. People in kitchen are definitely in the wrong business. All grilled meat looks like charcoal, disgusting super sweet sauce and the list goes on. One star is still too much! That place really deserves a minus 5. Just stay away from that restaurant, if I can call that a restaurant. Poor customer service also, even though the server was well aware of the quality and our disappointment, he did not try to offer anything to make it up. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can only base this review on the fajita, chicken and steak, both are awesome, they are soo quick so if you hungry now this is a great place to go to. i would have to say its pretty authentic, some of the staff doesnt speak english and i see the staff eating the food, i must say a lot of other mexican resturants i have been to havent seent that!! the taco salad isnt good, tried one time, they took it off the check. the salsa and chips are great as well

I am a HUGE fan of Mexican food since I grew up in California and it seems there is a phenomenal Mexican restaurant in every city. That being said, Fiesta Grande is the most authentic Mexican food, that I have had in Central Florida. The service is great, and the prices are very reasonable ($7-$14 entrees). Unfortunately, I cant say that this tops any of the California restaurants but its certainly the best I have had in Florida.

Started with the chips and salsa. Salsa had nice tomato flavor, then the heat kicked in. Lucky for us it was the mild salsa. The guacamole was good with celatro and lemon flavors with really fresh avocados. Had the combo plate with a taco Burtio tostada and and a cheese encilada. The grounded beef was full of flavor. The sauce had a nice smokey flavor. Overall food was very good.

The food was very tasty, and reasonably priced. They refilled our chips and salsa, and drinks the minute they saw we were out. Great place to eat in Mount Dora, Florida. They have a great selection of margaritas. We did not have any but if it had been later in the day I would have been very tempted.

My wife and I eat there today (Monday August 17) it was about 1pm there were 6-8 other groups there. Our service was excellent and the food was very good. We definitely will eat there again. My wife had chicken fajitas (she loved it) and I enjoyed the spicy burrito (not real spicy but very tasty).

This mexican restaurant has great food; especially their white cheese dip appetizer! The service has always been great; except maybe when we went during the Mt. Fora Art festival..but that was understandable. However, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for mexican!

This is one of our favorite Mexican Resturants. The food is consistant and always hot. The Mango Margaritas are the best. We bring all our visitors here to eat and they have enjoyed the experience enough to want to go back as soon as they arrive. Stop by for the happy hour margaritas.

Lets start of with the fact the service was horrible. Second the food was bland had no real flavor to it. The staff sitting at a table right behind me eating ice cream from a different restaurant. The only good part was the happy hour other than that not a place I will go to again.

The worst in tex-mex; very indifferent service (surly waiters) and bad food; I live here and there are just too many good restaurants in mt dora to wash your time with this one. Any American who has visited Mexico will find this food awful. Prices are low, but so is the quality.

Better than expected - salsa very fresh & just the right amt of spiciness. The chips are the hard thick type, which I dont really like, and you only get one basket free of charge, but tortillas tasted homemade- the best! A good margarita & fajitas. Service was very friendly.

Great food and great pricing. Its a little loud but thats one of the reasons we like going. We have a young child and a lot of younger families seem to find their way to fiesta grande. If youre looking for tasty Mexican thats super affordable, this is the place!

I am not a fan of Mexican food. Just came along with my friend that loves Mexican Food but the food at the Fiesta Grande in My Dora was exceptionally Delicious. They make their fresh salsa the chimichanga incredible! Highly recommend this healthy restaurant.

First off if you go here order the white queso!! Ive been here during the lunch hours on a weekday and during dinner on a weekend and both times were equally great. The service is very good. My drink never went empty. And the food was out in no time.

Good price, good service, and decent food. Ive usually been slightly disappointed with my food but still content. The others in my party usually have a slightly more satisfied opinion with their dishes. Regardless, you cant really beat the price.

My hubby and I went. The food was not authentic and tasted like it was straight from an old can. Service was bad, overall not a good experience. I am a local and I have talked to quite a few friends who share my distaste for this restaurant!

Very bland cafeteria tasting food. Nothing is fresh everything tastes as if prepackaged and cooked to order. Typical americanized chain mexican restaurant. On the positive side, its clean and wait staff is prompt and responsive.

Shrimp Cancun: dont go here without trying it. Its amazing! This place is a lot of fun to eat at. Its a quirky restaurant with all kinds of little nooks throughout the seating area. Service is very always prompt and attentive.
