The service made at least 5 mistakes: two diff servers came to introduce themselves both thinking they had our table they brought one of my guests another tables 2 pizzas, when he ordered 1 with different toppings; 2 diff servers brought two cappacinos to one of my guests; it took over 20 minutes to get our initial drink order that was ordered at the initial server visit, then after asking twice for them- the drinks finally came after the appetizers were prepared and delivered! I ordered a side of meatballs with pasta entree- they brought them out in one minute (dry- no sauce on them like the appetizer order we had enjoyed earlier). I sent them back so they would be hot with my pasta entree. The exact two came back, re-fried and crusty/ overcooked. Then one of us ordered a canolli. They had the audacity to deliver a horrible substitute disguised with large gobs of whipped cream covering both shell ends and chocolate pudding in the inside middle filling the shell. They claimed they ran out of ricotta. My guest politely refused to eat it this funny creation. Then they somehow brought out a real canolli to him with ricotta filling 10 minutes later, apologized, and said no charge. What can I say? The ice tea was good when it finally came, so was the baked ziti, and fresh mooz on the Cold Cut appetizer.

Great place packed on weekends so need to understand that even with a reservation expect to wait as its a people place so tables dont turnover as quickly as at other spots. Set your expectations to have a drink at the bar and chill. Everyone pitches in from the manager Samantha to the owners to the wait staff {thanks Jon} each care that you have a fun experience. Its loud so on the weekends dont expect to bring the grandparents or the little kids as the music is always thumping. Look its the atmosphere have fun and deal. They get that servers are sometimes overwhelmed so they put a card on the table you can hold up if you need extra service but everyone is really attentive so mostly its not needed. If you do hold it up the first available employee server, host or bus person is at your table immediately. Kinda cool. As to the food the wood fired veggies are always awesome. The arancini and Pizza are great too. The Nonna we had tonight was burnt but still delicious. The Rays Famous is great too. My only negative tonight was that for a party of three they put us at too small of a table but it didnt warrant taking off a star just made it a little more difficult. This is not my first visit certainly not the last.... New locations to follow so get your Fortina on...

The food is really good. The service, however, was horrible. This place needs to seriously look at their floor manager. I had about 5 waiters and it took an hour and forty five minutes to get served my food from when I ordered. It looked as if the staff had no idea what they were doing. As I said, I had 5 different people approach my table acting as waiters, but I cannot tell you who my actual waiter was. At one point, a "manager" approached my table and apologized for the wait saying "They apologize, because their pizza oven can only handle 4 pizzas at a time and everyone in the place ordered pizza". Well, I apologize to inform you that your restaurant is advertised as a "wood fired pizza place". People are going to order pizza. Its pretty obvious this place is still going through growing pains. If an owner sees this... Your staff is not worth the price of your food. I wont be offering suggestions for friends to go to your restaurant or coming back anytime soon.

The food is excellent at Fortina. The ambience and atmosphere are outstanding as well. However, I do feel like they overcharge for certain drinks in contrast with other similar establishments in harbor point and downtown Stamford. Allagash White Bottles are $12.00 as opposed to World of Beer, Barcelona and Tigins which charge $7.50. When I questioned the bar manager a week later, they told me that Allagash White was no longer on their menu. I am willing to give the restaurant another try since I enjoy the food. However, I expect comparable pricing for cocktails. Thanks again for your attention to this matter.

The food was good and the atmosphere is generally enjoyable but the music was uncomfortably loud. We asked the staff to turn it down a few times and they were very nice about it but after a slight momentary reduction in volume it went back to earsplitting. It was very difficult to have a conversation and I was hoarse after I returned home. I have eaten there before and not had this problem. I would hesitate to return, because it was so uncomfortable I wouldnt want to take a chance that it would happen again. It is too bad because I did enjoy the food.

This place has improved immensely since my last visit there and I must say the food is delish. The only criticism I would give is that the portions are inconsistent. My husband and I ordered roasted Brussel Sprouts which were good (a bit overdone) and the portion was TINY, compared to a week before when I went with my friend and the plate & portion size was way bigger. For $13-14 vegetable I expect a decent size portion. Otherwise, good. Service has been friendly and improved since they first opened.

A co-worker and I went to lunch here on our lunch break, the service was great, our server was happy to tell us all about their food and gave us a free appetizer to start as it was our first time there. Overall the food and experience was great, it did take a while to get drinks, food etc. which was not optimal for a lunch break during work but i would definitely come back here for a happy hour or when I had more time to spare.

Good music.. But terrible experience eatting at this restaurant. Staff was very unprofessional too many people on the floor running around & not doing much.. I felt like service could have been better. Employees seem to be too young and are still learning how to run a restaurant. 1 star only for the music food wasnt special and was definitely over priced.

We had a reservation at 8pm for 2 and was told our table was being cleared as we walked in the door. After waiting over 60 min and being lied to by the host on 3 occasions we decided to walk out. We were not the only party that was frustrated and had to leave due to over booking, annoying people, and way too loud music.

My experience at Fortina was amazing. I brought my two children, both foodies ,and we had fresh pasta, the Fried Meatballs , as well as the salad and crunchy fresh pickled Veggies. The pizza was excellent as well. The service was impeccable and desserts also REALLY good. We had the Bread pudding and the ice cream...

I had the most amazing experience at Fortina. The food was delectable, and the service was even better. Its location in Harbor Point creates a friendly and relaxing environment, and the rooftop bar overlooking the park makes for the perfect Saturday Night getaway. Thank you Fortina, for the lunch of a lifetime. <3

We had the fried meatballs, caprese salad and the Luigi Bianco pizza...all delicious. However what stood out was the service. Dan, Angelina and the rest of the team were awesome. Their willingness to ensure we were having a great time really made the experience well worth it. We will be back for sure.
