We really looking forward to the reopening of this place. Took the family on a non crowded ealy evening weekday. Kids split the burger, wife had the shrimp slider, and I had the shrimp cocktail. When the food finally arrived it was barely room temperature. Im sure the fries wood have been if they were hot. The burger meat was just straight up terrible. They have one burger on the menu and I would rather go Whiteys. The 3 sliders I thought were ok but the wife was not a fan. Would have been better if not room temp. The 15$ shrimp cocktail was Just dreadful. The dish was small, lacked flavor and came with four shrimp. It didnt even come with bread or crackers. With such a small menu I thought everything would be good but 2 out of 3 swings were complete missis. If I go back I would try the clams and the clam chowder.

The wife and I split the calamari and ordered our son a cheeseburger and fries. Its tough to find fresh and in house calamari, and it did not appear to be hear either, however, the calamari was cooked absolutley perfect. Not over done, tender with a crunch. The dipping sauce that comes with it (although Im not a preservation fan so much) was delicious. Sons cheeseburger was done perfect. Typical bar hamburger but the cook on it seasoning brought it up a notch. The French fries with the burger will bring me back for a beer and a plate of them. Shoestring style but came out steaming. Almost to hot to touch, just the way I like them. Service was super friendly and attentive. Found a new spot that will actually bring me over the bridge for a bite.

I loved the Sail when it was a dump, which this place is definitely not. I think the food is pretty good, although a little more expensive than I would like to pay for regular old seafood dishes. Perhaps the finest pina colada I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. Really, I mean it! Its quite fantastic. Staff is super friendly, the couple of times Ive been there when it was busy, the service suffered a little, but thats likely due to one server working all the tables. I dont go in anywhere near as much as I do for the old Sail Inn, but its a pretty nice makeover and I place that I appreciate being in town.

Went for happy hour and had the fish tacos and the carribean rum chicken sandwich. Service was good, it wasnt crowded at the time...which was about 445. It is very noisy in the restaurant and that was all we could talk about was how the sound travels... Possibly because of the wood plank walls. So, not a place to go for a romantic / quiet dinner. The food was amazing! The chicken sandwich was delicious. Ill definitely get that again.

From the minds of the folks who brought you Shady Lady comes your new favorite dive in West Sacramento. Great brisket, fish tacos and shrimp cocktails along with a solid selection of local beers and rum forward mixed drinks. Its a good spot to go before a ball game, walk on the riverfront or just to get food or booze. Stellar service and a few tvs if you want to watch a kings game.

Came here the first time the week it was open. It was busy and the buzz was good. Food was great but drinks lacked for some in our group. Came back tonight as Ive been craving the fish and chips and it was just as good as last time. Quick service, friendly, not as many people for a Thursday night as I would have thought. Ill be back for sure, though.

the bike rack isnt secured to the ground, its in a dark corner. the patio area is mostly for smokers and sucks for people who dont smoke and just like being outside. one time i came there the bathroom has puke all over the place. its mostly slow with not a lot of people there. its rather new, so its has a lot of new decor. drinks were normal.

Good drinks, good food, and good company. This place was somewhat historic back in the day but lost a bit of its luster over the years. It has been revamped under a new owner into a bar that actually serves some pretty great food (kitchen closes at 9) but drinks til 11. Id say it is definitely worth checking out.

This place is very good. Ive read some reviews on here that critiqued the service, and that makes no sense to me. This isnt Ruth Chris its a bar in West Sac..They might not ask to check in your coat but the food is legit and Im sure the drinks are good. Brunch is also excellence

More bun than burger, extremely loud, slow service, weak drinks, bartender taking shot after shot while Im waiting for my drink. There was more pineapple than chicken on the chicken sandwhich. Was really excited about a new spot in our neighborhood and left disappointed

The took out the pool tables during the change of ownership, so its more of a restaurant that serves alcohol...I went there thinking it was a bar that served food. We still had a great time , just didnt eat there yet so we gotta go back, tell then ...

This place rocks! Nice drink selection, and of those drinks I recommend the pins colada. The food is mainly seafood so be prepared. Although slightly limited in selection on the menu, everything is great! This is my local watering hole.

Excellent brisket. Pulls apart easily, and tasty. Pulled pork is also outstanding. Sweet potato fries were great as well. Oh, the chowder. A great experience from our perspective.

Just had another fabulous lunch at the Sail Inn. The clam chowder is so delicious. And the shrimp salad was just amazing. With a glass of wine, you cant get anything better than that.

Food was great. Nice portions not greasy. Our bartender was fun spirited and even got us to try one of there pre-blended drinks which we found quite tasty. Plenty of seating.

Nice menu but the first time I came in I was charged double for my beers. That left a bad impression. Food was decent but took a long time to come out. I expected more.

Only reopened for 4 days as of last night, good was tasty, staff were helpful, and the place was in ship shape! (Albeit a little loud inside.) Keep sailing!

Great bartender, good drink selection, and clean. Cant really ask for more from a bar. Good for a more chill night out during the week.

Food was disappointing. Fries were drenched in BBQ sauce and meat was over cooked and dry beneath. Place was disappointing over all.
