Went for lunch on Monday and hence not much crowded. We ordered for pongal and puri for my kids, and ordered south indian thali for me and my wife. The pongal and puri were good. The chutneys for the pongal were just ok, but the pongal itself was good. Some of the chutneys were very hot for as it was done with lots of green chillis. Sambar was sweet. The mini puris were served with ketchup, chocolate and potato masala which was nice. The thali was not good at all. The currys, sambar, rasam all were well below normal standards. The mango kesari was just ok for taste, but the texture was pasty and felt like it was not completely done. Overall I came out of the restaurant with dissatisfaction.

Went there with my friend and ordered Gobi Manchurian dry, Podi Dosa and Parotta Curry, they erroneously gave us butter masala dosa instead and we decided to eat that since we were hungry, dosa was pretty good, and then came two orders of Gobi Manchurian when we just ordered one, still was pretty good. We were eagerly waiting for the Parotta, after 15 mins the owner said they over burnt it and had to redo it (+1 for honesty), but when it finally arrived it was super disappointing. Parotta was way too oily and thick, the korma was also below average. Dosa was good and the prices were super cheap, next time I might come just for the dosa.

Some of the food we ordered, especially the masala vada tasted good. But the Indo-Chinese noodles were overwhelmed by raw chillies making it impossible to eat more than a spoon. We saw someone return their food and a couple of others staring at their food with red water-filled eyes. So, this was not one-off, but it was also random as the other orders of ours were just moderately spicy. The service too was mediocre. We had to repeatedly ask for water, check. Im unlikely to come back, but if I do, Ill stick to dosas and vadas.

Good south indian vegetarian restaurant. It is relatively new with good variety. This place offers south indian items from Andhra pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Their Chutneys are unique with peanuts which is a speciality in Andhra cuisine. Service was fast and staff were friendly. My only gripe was the location next to a smoke shop. If you visit with family and kids after 9.30 pm you might see some weird characters in the vicinity..they are harmless though!

Finally an authentic vegetarian south-indian thali food available...! This restaurant has reached my expectations. The quality of thali is excellent. It is better than sarvana bhavan.. I went to this restaurant again and ordered other items. The are the Items in thali Appetizer Poori Papad Daal Vegetable Fry Sambar Rasam Curd Dessert Do not order anything other than thali. I hope theyll keep up the same quality of thali.

Not a place to have lunch or dinner. Food is blant and very oily for a south India food. Not recommended. Also we forgot our jacket on the table and they when called back they said that they didnt find any and I could hear the guy on the phone asking "where is the jacket (in a foreign language which I understand)" - Very bad gesture.

This place used to Taste Buds restaurant and they have now changed it to Amaravathi although Im not if there has been a change in management. I like their pesarattu and their Gulab Jamun is pretty amazing. But apart from that there are not too many good things to say about the place.

Andhra style food. I got the south indian thali for lunch in the place. I liked the big poori that was soft and nice. Paapu was great, as it should be in any good Andhra style restaurant. The rasam was great too. Would recommend. Looking forward to trying their dosa stuff.

Good freshly cooked food. Good service and care. Had Parota Koruma after a really long time and was authentic. They serve 4 kinds of chutney and all of them are good. Their masala wada was authentic. Their idli is ok. But I would stay away from Sambar and wada

Taste is unbeatable. Prices are great for this tasty of food. Beware they dont stay open during published hours. Always call before heading out. This is so unprofessional by the way, but I am unable to take stars out coz of how good the food tastes.

A welcome change from the typical overdose of spices in the name of South Indian food you find around El Camino. The food here is aromatic, tasty, not too bland nor overly spicy. It is a small place worth exploring. Parking is limited.

I liked this place because of the awesome noodles and baby corn. The thalli is really costly, but I went on mothers day, so they increased the talli price, but mothers got it free! My family ended up taking most of the food as takeout

Vegetarian food at its best. Fast service. But never go for catering service. They ruined the day for us. We did not get the food that was asked for. Bringal curry and dosakaya pickle are the nightmares of all.

Very well prepared, dosa was crispy, coconut water nice and the special ginger-tomato was out of the world! Idli was fluffy and soft. a bit of the spicy side for me. Very friendly staff and great service.

Good food. Limited menu but yummy tasty food served. Veggies feel so fresh. Manchurian - too good. And amazingly soft idlis!! best idlis in bay area. Awesome place. Hope they maintain the good quality.

The most authentic South Indian food you can eat in Silicon Valley along with Saravana Bhavan in Sunnyvale. Can get very crowded during weekends and service becomes slow but otherwise, very good.

Beware of this place. Worst Food. I would not recommend this place to any one. Dosa was not good. I believe chutneys were really old, they were cold and sour/bad taste. Masala Vada were hard.

Very average south Indian vegetarian food. I ordered their vada, idli and Dosa. Nothing great to talk about given the number of great south Indian restaurants we have in the south bay area.

Its purely a Telugu cuisine, so the sambar and chutneys are pretty authentic. The prices are notably lower compared to similar places. An its open from 8.30 am for weekend breakfasts.

Great dosas and uppatham! It beats out Nearby Madras slightly, with tasty sauces and carefully prepared food. We found plenty of seating. Needs a bike rack for two-wheeled visitors.

Good food (selection, quality and quantity) and good prices. We had the idlis, spring onion dosa and veg kheema dosa. All were great! Next time well try the thali!

A good restaurant. Nice staff and good service. Food was good but not something that blows your mind. Price is reasonable for the city. Try it and you will like it.

Quick service. Clean tables. Cheaply priced. Wasnt crowded. The chilli paneer was too spicy and the paneer itself was very crispy, would have liked it softer.
