3 Stars means it was OK. I moved to Lincoln from the bay area and have been searching for an authentic and delicious Mexican restaurant. This is NOT it. The service was amazing each time I went, including takeout service. I have given them a try several times, and ordered different things. Each time, I have been disappointed. The only thing good about the food, has been the consistently great refried beans. The meats are over seasoned and taste as if they have either been marinated too long or that they are pre-cooked, not sure which, but they are seasoned so much so that it takes away from whatever its added to. (overpowering the taste) Tried the chicken, ground & shredded beef. The nachos were sloppily served and literally had a tablespoon of beans. I had to ask for more beans. I think that theyre currently experiencing a good run because theyre new to Lincoln. If they dont make some changes and take more care in food preparation, they wont last long. Like I said, the service was great, everyone is very attentive to your needs. Very loud place, as well.

I have gone here about 5 times....love the food. Usually I get the Chicken Ala Crema - chicken is a cream sauce - comes with rice and beans, and tortillas. Love it, but one complaint. The plates they serve their meals on are very very large. The actual servings of rice and beans - very small. They like smear the beans, til the layer is less than 1/8 of an inch. Like if you painted it on the plate. Looks like alot, but if you scrape it all together, it only comes to a small batch about the size of the bottom of a cup. Measurement wise, probably about 1/4 cup. Rice is not that much bigger, and is sprinkled all over a side of the plate. My husband had the skirt steak, flavor good, but once again it looked like a small portion that was pounded out to look bigger than it was. Steak was also paper thin. We are now debating if it is worth going to or not. Flavor excellent.

Have been here many times. Food is ok but not great. Service has always been great. My review focuses on a take out order. My wife and I werent feeling well and ordered to go. Got order home and when my wife opened her burrito is was pork rather than beef as ordered. Had to go back. Long story shortened. Spoke with manager on phone and suggested he train his desk staff to make a discount available to unhappy customers without having to hunt down the manager. The manager was not at all interested in what I was saying and all he could say was "sorry bout that". Wouldnt even offer anything to try to appease my irritation. Probably wont be back with that attitude. Too bad!

Ive eaten here every few months for the last 4 or 5 years. Food is not bad, considering the price point and they have to pay for a full bar. Staff is fairly friendly and efficient. Interior - furniture/tables/carpet - is extremely dated and in disrepair. I believe to fit in with Lincolns overall atmosphere and keep up with their competition, they probably need to invest some money in their restaurant. Not a bad fallback if you dont want to drive to Roseville or Rocklin, just dont expect a romantic, upscale dining experience.

We regularly go to Casa Ramos for dinner or order take out from them and the food is always wonderful. It sometimes is slow to get a table, but once you do, the service is great! Hot, fresh tortilla chips and salsa, great margaritas, delicious food (Im partial to shredded beef and the carne asada y mas.) The wait staff is courteous and fun. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant! I recommend Casa Ramos for authentic Mexican food. It makes me feel like Im back in the Mexican Riviera & all that is missing is the pyramid.

I would have given it 5 stars however the waitress brought out a completely wrong order. The bad part was she argued saying that what my wife had ordered the tacos. That is impossible because she always orders the pork Carnitas. It took so long getting the correct meal I had finished my dinner as it was getting cold. Honest mistakes happen however the waitress was rude. I tipped my usual 20% however I wont be going back anytime soon. There was also a very loud drunk guy in the bar that was annoying.

The owner, the bartender, all the wait staff have been there since day one. Its always a pleasure to dine in with large parties or small and I feel sorry for the negative complainers on here that are impossible to make happy. Im sure they leave negative comments at every place they dine in at. This place is well priced with large servings, great happy hour prices, great sevice, great food, always clean no complaints! You should go in.

I liked the service and the food was great. I just want to say a little bit about some of these ungrateful white folks in Lincoln that want to complain about this restaurant. If you feel you can do better than what these people at Casa Ramos can do then by all means give these great people some pointers. If not take your sniveling asses somewhere else to eat. Love this place!!!! Viva Zapata!!!! Viva Panchovilla!!!!!

Waiter did not inform us of the extra charge for pork, chips were burnt, portions small (delivered on large plate).Very long wait for food. The prices are ridiculously high. Four to twenty dollars higher for same item at comparable restaurants. We will not return. Meat would be better if it was not marinated in enchilada sauce. If we wanted enchiladas, we would of ordered them.

Man! Excellent service. Mariachi band was very entertaining and really created a good vibe to the restaurant. Food was beyond delicious, my office team enjoyed every bit of it. Perfect place for the whole family. #LikeAGoodNeighbor #AndresFromStateFarm #IsThere #SupportingLocal #Businesses #ShopLocal #Lincoln #Roseville #Sacramento #CA #Auto #Life #Home #Business #Insurance

Service was very slow this time. Usually great service. Waited almost 20 minutes for our food. Had to request refills of my coffee. Also had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the Waitress to pick up my payment. Not sure what was the problem last night.

Friendly & professional staff during late lunch/ thick-bodied salsa with perfect heat for general public, large plate of tasty, lean Carnitas and sides that I could only eat half of- so I brought the rest home for dinner. I will return with friends!

These people have the best Mexican food in town. The plates are huge so you get your moneys worth. We have been eating there since they opened a couple years ago and the chile verde is the best. try it youll love it

We love the hospitality and great food Raul and his staff provide the community! Weve used the catering service on two of our very important events and got rave reviews on their food. Our parties were great successes!
