Great price, great food, and great atmosphere. Service can be a little daunting at times, but overall they get an ok stamp. Not great, but ok. Ive pretty much conditioned myself not to expect much in terms of service at Asian restaurants anymore, since you cant really expect much out of it. Those whove ventured for great Asian cuisine should know what I mean. Just got seated, and 30 seconds to a minute later; comes back asking for what we want for our main entree... But if you can really look pass all that youll end up with a happy stomach. I do recommend this place for great food, but service? I re-iterate just dont expect much.

Pretty good noodles, although the highlight was definitely the pork. The soup base was ok and the noodle textures were ok, though probably not enough to set them apart from other ramen places. The pork however was very memorable, very tendor and flavorful. We had the Tontoro ramen, Ajisen ramen, and Umi ramen, and the primary difference seem to be the amount of pork in each bowl. This is a chain with at least 3 branches in the Bay area, I would definitely recommend this particular place to others living near Fremont.

My wife and I visited this place in hopes to find a decent ramen shop, the couple next to us was seated after us, served first, and was treated very friendly, later we saw them giving a hug to the waitress as if they knew her. There was a "hurry up and leave" attitude we both got from the servers. One of them dropped a soda can on my leg and her tone wasnt very pleasant, it was as if I was in her way. Food was decent but pricey. Not a friendly place for kids.

I had the Hand Made Tender Ribs Noodle and the best part about this dish was the pork ribs. I would just want a plate of that. The meat was so tender without being mushy, and flavorful too. Unfortunately, the broth and the ramen noodles were both just "eh". I also got the Nagoya Tebakara. I wasnt a big fan. The chicken balls were huge and chewy. I like my karaage to be popcorn size, crispy and tender.

Premium pork is the best. Soft rib bones are also good choice. They give lots of meat and the noodles are cooked proper. They have a few add on for $1.50 - the rice and pork is decent. My daughter loves the kids meal, and its always too much food for her. Agadashi tofu is also delicious, its not crunchy but has a chewy outside texture and tasty sauce.

ORDER THE #1!! Trust me, Im Japanese. The meat thats served on the #1 is like crack. It is grilled fatty, porky, salty goodness. The broth is a rich, white "Tonkotsu" or pork bone broth which is delicious to the last drop. The noodles and service are not something to write home about, but the delicious meat more than makes up for that.

Had the beef rib ramen. It was ok, the egg was over cooked, the beef was over marinated, and the soup lacked depth. Once I got full, the soup tasted a little too salty. Not a bad place, but not the best.

This is a very awesome non-Japanese-esque Japanese ramen place. The pork is spectacular, and the noodles are cooked just right. This place can get extremely crowded during the lunch hour

Ajisen Ramen was able to accommodate my low carb diet. Thank you at 12:05pm the wait time was not bad at all. It did get a little loud inside when the place started to fill up.

This place never disappoints. Weve gotten to the point where they ask us our "usual" lol. The food is good for the price and very tasty! Also very quick service.

Another great place for ramen. The selections are delicious as ive tried at least five different options. Small place that gets filled up quickly at lunchtime.

Soup base is rich and flavorful. Noodles is just ok. The $1.5 hot sauce comes in a small bowl enough to share between two or more people and is very yummy.

Came here to have dinner with my friend. Generally food is good but the soup is a little bit salty. It would be way better if it were less salty

Premium Pork Ramen (menu #1) is probably best ramen EVER! Bay Area Ajisen Ramen is about 500 times better than their counterparts found in Asia.

This place is great.. The food is consistently great only thing I can suggest is to get their early as it tends to get busy quickly for lunch.

The servers here have a major attitude problem, especially the rotund one. The ramen here is pretty decent but I just hate the service.

I love the spicy ramen. Good amount of spice and the bok choy is a perfect addition to it. Ajisen is a fantastic place to grab lunch!
