Coffee is decent, not my favorite, but I have always found the employees to be incredibly rude and impersonal. On multiple occasions I have been spoken to in a very curt fashion for no reason at all (keeping in mind that I always smile when I approach a registrar and at least say hi or ask how their day has been). I have seen them favor others and give them multiple punches on their reward cards when they purchase one item and give me one punch when I buy a few. I have always held my temper in these moments. I gave Manhattanville almost a dozen opportunities to redeem themselves - they never have. Sorry, no reason to every come back here. I sincerely hope others have had more pleasant experiences, but there are other coffee shops in the area that are always friendly to me.

What an amazing local coffee shop. I love Starbucks but I love to gra I dropped in one day because I am always passing this establishment on my way to Riverside. They have tall windows which allow for the maximum amount of lighting possible and plenty of outlets, couches, and a large community table. I ordered a Mocha while I sat and did my work. It tasted amazing and it wasnt too sweet or too strong. They have a wide assortment of sweets as well to select from. The staff was helpful and kind as well. Of course their is free wifi at this location which is always perk. This will quickly become a new favorite since it is only 2 blocks from my house. Thanks Manhattanville Coffee for a great first impression.

Found this place on Yelp. First impressions as soon as you walk in? Yes yes yes! Absolutely amazing décor. Exposed brick wall, couches, wood furniture, communal table. The baristas were very friendly in recommending me a drink and something to eat. Got an Iced Mocha. Was served in an actual glass, which was pretty awesome. The tables have little pencils on them, which have the name of the coffee shop on them - thumbs up. People here were studying, chatting, one brought their baby. Free WiFi, good service, good food, definitely coming back.

I love this cafe place! It was my firdt time ever visit to New York and I stayed in the Harlem area. The STAFF at Manhattanville are cool, courteous and very cordial. They made me feel at home and comfortsble as I get my daily coffee and breakfast there. Will definitely recommend this quaibt coffee store ti anyone who just want to chill with a cuppa coffee or tea. Thank you Manhattanville Coffee staff for your great service and smiles!

This neighborhood cafe has really great coffee but also delicious snacks and fast wifi. The clientele and staff are all very friendly and they always have a welcoming vibe. There is also water for dogs out front and seats in the front to relax and people watch. It does have the tendency to get a bit crowded in the middle of the day. Worth it!

This is our go-to local coffee shop. We love the staff, they are amazing and friendly. It is a great place to to work on your computer, read, or to meet neighbors if you want to chat. And they have awesome drinks and bagels. They serve Intellegentsia Coffee. (I am hoping they will start serving vegan baked goods soon. :))

The coffee is nothing great, slightly better than Bodega coffee. Paid over $4 for a SMALL iced coffee. You can get a better coffee 3 blocks north at Starbucks and save a dollar. The girl behind the counter looked miserable and was not friendly. I feel bad making her work, so Ill just never return.

Good space - if you have some work to do this is your place. All you can use mini golf pencils to boot! Decent service (probably better if youre a local). Solid espresso. There appeared good pastry options, but didnt try them. Ill be back when Im in the area....

Small coffee shop. Great mocha but a bit sweet. Their cappuccino was really good though! The plain croissant was big and tasty. It is definitely a great place to do some work and spend some casual time. The atmosphere is calming and peaceful. Love the music too!

Good, strong coffee. Good bagels and sandwiches. Nice decor. Reasonably priced craft beer selection. It is a very busy place and getting a seat can be a challenge sometimes. The delicious bagels run out fast so get there early.

Great place!!! Small shop, but with lots of seating to suit singles, couples or groups. Staff is super nice. Very clean place, large open windows and a really good latte :-) Great place to either hang out or get work done.

Very nice, chill place with cool staff. Had an awesome soy latte which tasted like a latte. Many places use soy milk thats overly sweet, which yields a nasty tasting mess. Not here. Very nice place for a relaxing coffee.
