I come here for trivia every Tuesday and its an absolute blast. Ive been to bar trivia all over the city, and Gael Pub and quizmaster Ryan and undoubtedly the best whether youre a casual trivia fan or a hardcore competitor (the nights typically attract both). I went here once on a weekend night and it was sort of empty, so maybe it doesnt do well outside of Tuesdays, but its got a friendly staff and is otherwise a typical place to grab a drink on the UES. But beware, they dont have a food menu (they do allow outside food though).

After being a loyal customer for years I was overcharged by the staff and then treated horribly, with complete disrespect, when I disputed the charge. I brought my mother and a friend there last night for a drink and to watch football. Ive never been so outraged by the lack of customer service and by the way a bartender talked to and interacted with female customers. Needless to say, they have lost a loyal customer (and all her co-workers and family) who have stoped in at least once a week for years. Despicable.

I really liked the ambiance and the friendly bartenders, they were very attentive and funny, we walked in cause I saw they had the world series on tv, they served us right away and kept my drinks coming. Im making this place my new favorite place to hang out. Dont forget to order the Belgian Fries, dipping is pretty good.

the tuesday night trivia is so much fun! get here early to grab a table and enjoy the 4 $ beers ( the apple one is very refreshing!), and bring your own food, from the salad place in the corner or the pizza one next door! also the bartender is so nice, always smiling!

Great Irish pub. Hate to leave a comment as it is sort of a secret. Outstanding bartenders. You will always feel at home here. Unpretentious vibe, a real oasis on the UES. Great happy hour til 8, great place to watch a game too. Lets keep this hush hush-hush, alight?

Came for the excellent trivia night. Bartenders are helpful and authentic. Prices are as low as they go in the neighborhood. Crowd was pleasant, and the food looked good too.

Typical Irish pub, nothing spectacular, but not dingy. Fine place to swallow down beer and watch sports if youre inclined. Happy hour extends until 8:00, which is a bonus!
