Lets run down the checklist of the things youre looking for in a neighborhood bar. [x] Cheap beer. [x] Football. Hockey. Sports. With sound. [x] Big tvs. [x] Kickin air conditioning. [x] Nice bartenders. [x] The ability to not only not laugh at me, but give me a hearty plate full of these things, when I order a plate of celery, carrots and ranch dressing. [ ] Talking animal mascot.* Brooklyn Pub has all these things, and is thriving in the apparently huge new mecca of bars and restaurants that is 20th Street and 6th Ave. (which is near not a hot damn thing). And its a great place for the overflow crowd when Tobys is (as it almost always is) overflowingly busy. * - Every bar should have one of those. Why hasnt Eddie Murphy gotten on that yet?

Awesome place. Local crowd, very Brooklyn. Hard rock ambiance, excellent food, and most of all wonderful staff. That one star review about the service dog, by the way, is a complete misrepresentation of what really happened, since I was the only person in the bar at that time and witnessed it. The bartender said he wasnt sure about service dogs and offered to call his manager to find out. But the reviewer said something like "it doesnt even matter" and walked out before he could do so. So "ostracizing," I know. Its a great place, dont let this BS review fool ya.

Friendly bartenders, awesome service and great Brooklyn/divey decor. The food is well-above what I would expect of a "pub" and I found the burger to be seasoned really well, cooked perfectly and the fries were out of this world. The teriyaki dipping sauce is delicious and the buffalo sauce is more of a hot sauce, so beware if youre expecting buttery goodness. Decent prices, will definitely return, especially on a Sunday afternoon.

Not the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night. The aforementioned jukebox is always turned up to 11, and one of my visits featured a bartender that got so hammered they forgot to put in our food order, as well as adding a few glasses of wine to our tab out of nowhere. Food is alright, and they have lots of TVs with sports, but bring your earplugs.

1. We both got food poisoning from different meals. 2. I highly suspected they knew this food would make us sick, and delivered it anyway. 3. The food was terrible and of the lowest quality possible. 4. Im pretty sure this restaurant has paid people to write good reviews, because that is the only way I can understand why people "like" this place.

A biker pub. They have enormous portions of food so be careful when ordering. Theres live music sometimes. Prices are moderate and the staff is nice although a bit lost at times.

The Brooklyn Pub is fantastic! The food is awesome and clearly homemade. Best of all the prices are very reasonable. The BBQ and wings are incredible!!!

They wouldnt let my SERVICE DOG inside. Not only is that illegal, but also felt very ostracizing. Wouldnt recommend this place.
