Myself & my coworkers order from here on a regular basis & have always been happy with the service. Today however I ordered lunch a grilled chicken salad online. It showed that it ordered twice & then declined my card. I looked at my account & there was plenty of funds available & I could also see that Pizza Works deducted the $13 from my account. I called Pizza Works and the person I was speaking with informed me that I never placed an order and they didnt charge my card. I said I am looking at my statement and youabsolutly did. I asked to speak with the manager to whcih I was informed I am the manager and Im telling you that you never placed the order. I tried again to explain the situation but he cut me off and spoke over me. I myself am in a mangement positition in a customer service office & there is always a way to fix a situation to avoid an upset customer and loss of buisness. He still refused to rectify the situation and I have now had to call the credit card company to dispute the charges. Oh & my order was never delivered....never again will any of us here order from Pizza Works. Good luck giving them your credit/debit card info. Scam!!

Its hard to wax poetic about pizza when youre surrounded by East Coast places that have been "doing pizza right" for so long that they wouldnt know any other way to make it. The Pizza Works is that kind of solid, stable pizza joint that most of us grew up with - from the Mid-Atlantic up through New England. No weird, "Lets see what happens if we top it with THIS" surprises. Just normal, great-tasting, affordable pizza. Which is why The Pizza Works is also a great go-to hub for the expat Easterner who returns from The Left Coast and needs a pizza fix. Your response will be almost primal - at a cellular, "Ahhhhh!" level.

The owner, Kenny, is a wonderful man. He knows who I am and went to school with my mom, so he sometimes will add something extra for us when we order delivery. The fried dough babies are addictive. The French fries are absolutely amazing. The best fries Ive ever had. The pizza is great, too, of course. The eggplant parm sub is very filling, but mine had a lot of tough pieces in it.

I have been to this place a couple of times. if you pay by cash things are ok, but if you pay by credit card even if you pick up, they charge you $2 tip. I signed my credit card slip for $9.34 and when I checked my account it was $11:34. The worst thing is this happened when I signed only for $9:34 Note: this was not a delivery, but I waited there for 20 minutes and had to pay $2 extra.

This is a reliable place for delivery. Good food and above average service. There are some comments about issues with credit card payment, which I disagree with. Ive used a cc with these folks 100 times and never had any issues.
