I am grateful for the vegan options. They seem really busy and there are quite a few younger people here. I am an older person and would probably like different music but I can put up with that just for the wonderful vegan wraps. Update: twice they have been out of the vegan bacon. At least they told me the first time. This time I just gave me a nasty substitute and didnt bother to tell me until I had taken my first bite. The cook did not bother to tell the girl who sold it to me that they were out and she didnt have a clue. So Im not very happy with this place right now because the main reason I go there is for the vegan wrap. The girl who took my order told me they did not have wraps so Ive been eating them there for a few months now and it was a little disconcerting to hear that they all of a sudden did not have wraps. She was mistaken. I wish they would get it together and figure out if they have wraps or not and if they have vegan bacon or not.

Never before in the history of mankind has there been an establishment with such Prestige and Raw soul as company brewing. Our ancestors will sing songs of the times had here, in some future airport a themed restaurant will be established to memorialize the greatness contained within. The beer is Handmade by Aphrodite herself, culled from the very soil beneath our feet and transmorphersized into an elixir of cataclysmic proportion. The food is representative of Natures Bounty itself, atmospheric changes can be detected around each dish. Music flows in a great waterfall of diversity and magnificence from the very walls , humble yourself befor the greatness that is company brewing, know that you are not worthy, but will be served dutifully.

Almond Boy coffee! Oh Hell YEAH. Coffee was rock solid. Great flavors. The seating is wood booth and cafe seating, plus LONER SEATS (stools on a bar) against window. Was hoping for more informal flop chairs and couch seating but the booth had outlet in easy reach and unlocked WiFi, so it was 4/5 star. The one star loss (4/5) was for the non frat house seating that I so enjoy and bec of the heavy metal, screamer music overhead. Not GOOD METAL THRASHER either. More like IM IN THE GARAGE WITH MY 15 YEAR OLD FRIENDS, MOM. I DONT WANT MAC & CHEESE!!! Only open til 9pm. Oh well. MUCH better coffee than the BASTARDISTAS at SBs

My daughter lives in Riverwest and when I come up to visit her we go to Fuel Café and weve always liked going to this café. Last night (May 16, Friday), we went there after having dinner and we were enjoying our coffee when the person (a young lady) started banging chairs and tables as she was trying to clean. Clearly, she knew what a commotion she was creating as we were not only ones to notice. After this experience, I dont know if well ever come back here again. That girl was VERY rude

Loved it 20 years ago and love it now. Brought my daughter for the first time and introduced her to the world of writing at the Fuel with a hot drink nearby. Cheaper and better than any chain. Whether you want to sit for awhile depends on your musical tastes and whether they mesh with staff at the time.

The cafe right off National is dope. The wings are Nashville hot chicken style and they are incredible. They come with a fresh pickle that looks like it was pulled from a home made jar in the back. Their whole brand is strong and this is one of the most visually pleasing restaurants in the city.

Baristas were okay. The Milky Way (AKA caramel mocha) was a little bit of a let down. Overall the place is cool, but theres not much special about it. Seems like a spot people who called themselves punks in the past come to revive their glory days.

Gotta love this eclectic coffee place. Kind of motorcycle/ artsy theme filled with 70s kitchen tables and old church pews. Some good eats, vegan options & a number of aptly named coffee drinks. Love the neon sign: Killer Coffee, Lousy Service.....

Ive been going here since 1993, and Ive seen the mayor, crusty punks, business people, and hippies all happily co-existing. The food is delicious, the Milky Way is the best beverage youll ever drink, and the staff is relatively clean.

This place is famous with the college kid crowd, for the atmosphere alone. You can sit and draw for hrs, have great food, amazing coffee (or chai) as I always love. The staff is fast and friendly, and the music is great!! <3

OK, Its not THAT punk, but it definitely rocks that grunge culture. cool atmosphere and located around other like-cultured establishments, but big downside - no free wifi, at least to my knowledge.

A riverwest classic. Trendy staff, good coffee, and various broody artist types around writing their new novel or whatever. Food is great too. Vegan and vegetarian options if thats your thing.

Local coffee, mildly pretentious, but it has plenty of local local things if you are into that. It is a great place to hang out in and watch Center Street from the outside benches in the summer.

Maybe im not hip enough to be there, but my opinion is that this place is overpriced and trying to deal with the other patrons can be annoying, especially for your nose.

Tasty, inexpensive and filling. Can only speak for the sandwiches (not the drinks) but I suspect theres a reason why this place is such an institution.

So hipster, much riverwest. Wow. This place is like distilled riverwest. Grungy in a purposeful way. Good food, and a great cup of coffee.

Heavy meals. Nothing like Riverwest Fuel, which is more of a lunch spot. This place definitely holds up for more of a dinner joint.
