If you live on Vashon and you have yet to enjoy a Zombies burger you are seriously missing out. You probably dont even know that Zoomies, the former DQ style restaurant that occupied this space, has changed into the fabulous Zombies. You probably dont know that they hand form their burger patties from all natural grass fed beef. You probably dont know their breakfast sandwiches are made on house made biscuits (and the sausage patties are formed in house as well). You probably dont know that they serve incredible flavors of Full Tilt ice cream (Thai Ice Tea, Lemon Lavender, Stout Chip! They even have a few vegan options. And the flavors change often.....maybe too often as I have been missing the Thai Ice Tea). Why havent you eaten at Zombies? Probably because you are scared its going to be just another run of the mill quick burger joint. If that is your assumption then you are missing out on one of the best burger joints in the PNW! The service is awesome, the owner and chef is often in the kitchen cooking up a storm, the walls are covered in silly Zombie art. My only complaint is that they wont make the Full Tilt into a milkshake for me (but they do have milkshakes from soft serve and in the summer they sometimes put fresh strawberries in the shakes. To die for). I feel blessed to live on such a tiny island with such an awesome burger place to fulfill my needs!

Fried food on-point. Kinda hard to mess up but the added effort to batter their corndogs and chicken with a quality carb covered goodness, not bad. The menu is cluttered and written in chalk so navigating it will depend on legibility. We were greeted by a lady at the register that was overwhelmed for a good reason, it was getting crowded. We quickly ordered and asked for a side of ranch to dip my battered covered poultry in. Oh so healthy... Later, I find out its .53 cents for ranch because at the time she was too busy calling us foolish for ordering a side of fries with our order. Apparently the items already came with fries! Well slap me and call me Suzy! Long story short, no ranch. Good laugh.

The food is always amazing to me. Yes it can take a bit long but its made with a healthy style of cooking then a normal fast food place, so its with the wait. The ice cream after a perfectly cooked Corn Dog (served on Chop Sticks because of how large it is!) is a wonderful way to end a long day. If you havent gone yet, then I say its about time you did!

This place cam highly reccommended for great burgers and it being family friendly. The burgers were great and I loved the coloring utensils and games at the tables. My critiques were the difficulty they had handling a number of people and being told to pay any extra $.81 for one tartar sauce after ordering $65 worth of burgers. Overall decent place.

The pulled pork sandwich was great but the fries were either old or not fully cooked. They were slightly crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside. Personally, fries are a huge factor in my reviews and these were far from good. We went during the Strawberry festival and should have ate some festival food instead of this.

So good. We were craving delicious burgers, and this hit the spot. The meat was grass-fed beef which was a huge plus. I got the Zat Burger and it was beyond yummy. We also go the onion rigs. It was an enormous order - practically an entree of onion rings. We have gone back several times for fish and chips or burgers! YUMMY!

A guilty pleasure for those hungry for some delicious day good. However, make sure youve some time on your hands as everything is made from scratch, including the hand-dipped corn dogs. Ive sampled a range of menu items and havent come across anything that was less than satisfying.

The service and the food have made me into a regular. It is often hard to get a table but it is worth the wait. Everything here from the Corn Dog to the Chicken Fingers is hand made and you can tell.

Excellent, authentic burger shack. We were prepared for a wait, but food came pretty quickly. Fries were first rate (no frozen potatoes here!) Family-friendly too. Great experience all round.
