My husband and I decided to try this place out. We had the yellow curry and pad thai. We orderd them to be "thai hot", boy was the hotness very underwhelming. There was hardly any spice to it at all. Other than spiciness the food was good, a little over priced though. The egg rolls were very over priced and not "Thai" like. Wont order them again or any apitizer for the prices. Its a very small establishment and was crowded at 7pm when we went. Service was okay as we waited a good while to have our order taken and had to find a staff member to get spice pepper paste. I didnt like seeing into the kitchen due to the fact I could see the cooks eating as they were preparing food. Not appetizing at all. By all means eat, but not while you are cooking the food.

Terribly Disappointed! While the food is great, I was shocked by the poor service. We had to ask for the beer and wine menu. The server did not come back to take our drink order. Our appetizer did not arrive. When I mentioned the appetizer, the server decided that he would remove the cost from the bill. I agreed that restaurants usually do not charge for food that is not served. Our food (there were only two of us) was brought out about five minutes apart. This while there were three servers for four tables.

Love, love, love Lemongrass restaurants! We have been going to the downtown one for about 10+ years although havent visited it for many years now, have been to the Lacey location several times but I think the Tumwater one is my favorite. Food is good, service is prompt and friendly, in particular the one bartender with long dark hair who seems to be working most often when weve been dining out, she does an excellent job, our male server on our last visit was awesome too.

We cook and eat a lot of Thai food and this was excellent. We had the soup, a chicken fried rice which was really good, exceptional flavor, and a pork curry over white rice . the serving sizes were very large (we took a lot home), the quality excellent and seasoning just right. Staff was accommodating (I called the order in and it was ready when we walked in), friendly and interested in how we like the meal.

I went in at about 3:30 pm and there were no other customers yet. It picked up after about 4:00 and people started coming in to eat there and to pick up takeout. The service was great even after it got busier. I had the Lemongrass Garden with tofu and it was very good. A bit pricey, but it was a large portion and I took half with me. My only complaint was the iced tea, $3 is pretty steep for colored water.

Food is great service can suck... if you are calling in anew order you may or may not get someone on the phone. I called 4 or 5 times and got an answer then promptly got disconnected tried back a few times and got message machine and hungup on again. I understand being busy but that is not how you treat your customers. Sad because I do enjoy the food.

Excellent food. But dont dine in...very poor service. They arent really rude or anything, but it took 10 minutes to place my order, another 10 minutes to get my food (even though there was literally no one else there), and she dropped the check about 1 minute after my food finally arrived.

One of the worst Thai restaurants in Olympia/Tumwater/Lacey. Its like the panda express of Thai food, not authentic at all. The curry is a watered down soup. The pad thai tastes like they made it from a packet at Safeway. There are many other great Thai places in Olympia.

Something happened to this place. Last 3 orders in 3 weeks completely screwed up. Food quality used to be off the charts good. Now its just another place doing the minimum. Sad. It was our go to / never fail place.

Top quality food and service. Not at all like a Happy Teriyaki and different from a Chinese Restaurant. Food is awesome, I recommend the Almond Chicken as well any of their menu items!

Great food! Very crowded during peak times. Although they may have "wheelchair accessible" facilities, I wouldnt want to push my grandpa in here, itd be a nightmare!
