I have to say that Big Als brewing out did themselves with the Tutta Bella ale, that alone made the trip worthwhile. The Peppe calzone i ordered was exquisite considering the price with all the fillers being of good quality and the calzone itself was perfectly formed and a meal in itself. The marinara supplied was very warm and flavorful. It provided excellent accentuation for the edges of the calzone's flavor and jived nicely with the guts. The Cesar salad was nice. Too often i find a restaraunts ceasar to be so salty as to be not edible in principal alone, so that couple with croutons that didn't break in half when forking also helped out. My companions pizza, on the other hand, had pepperoni that smelled and tasted like a freshly opened tube of Jimmy dean sausage so a point is taken off for their awful choice in our eyes. It was cooked in terms of texture and pliability of the meat so take that into consideration. The service was excellent despite being a packed house well before we arrived (waited 15 minutes for a table) and after. I had my water refilled 3 times, rejected a fourth attempt, had plates removed from the table within minutes of setting them at the edge, and an almost sparkling demeanor for the 4 people involved with servicing my table.

<br/>Money well spent and a nice choice if in Wallingford. The value is for the money is in the service times and quality. Top notch for the price of admission.

Bluntly, the tile floors, huge windows and masses of kids running around make this place a nightmare for conversation--or sanity. Even when its not filled with families, its still loud. (BTW, I love kids. But not when theyre in restaurants and allowed to run & yell as if theyre at a playground.) Its like the Wallingford playground--but inside. Generally, the food is over-priced and mediocre. (Okay, the beet salad is really good.) I dont like the crust or the sauce and, while Im not a fan of pizza weighed down with "stuff", these toppings are too minimal. (I should add Ive given them three chances. This wasnt written based on an off-night.) So, lets see: loud, expensive, mediocre food. Even though its only four blocks away, Ill always go somewhere else--or stay home.

The closest Ive found to an Italian pizzeria in the Seattle area. The food is flavourful and generally authentic. Portions are reasonable (youre not going to get giant plates of food - stick to Olive Garden if thats your bag), prices are fair, service has always been friendly in my experience but understandably slow during peak times. Atmosphere is very family-friendly. Good selection of wines and beers to accompany the food.Aside from the decent Italian style pizzas the salads and meatball dishes are also of a good quality. Most importantly make sure you save room for dessert - the tiramisu is excellent. Coffee is passable but Id skip the biscotti.

Underwhelmed, overpriced, underfed. Spent $54 including tax and mandatory 18% tip (group size) for two tiny pizzas, two glasses of pinot grigio and a single golf ball-sized scoop of ice cream for the still-hungry, complaining kid. This is not the place if you want a lot of value in your dining, or a quiet experience. The pizza had scant toppings, no choice in sizes. It was paper thin and floppy. Ill admit, I dont care about the "authentic" experience, whatever that is. It was a clean place though.

I really like the taste of their thin crust pizzas - the ingredients are fresh and there are interesting combinations of flavors. My problem is that I just dont get full! And with the price of each pizza being rather high, I dont feel like I can get a complete meal here for less than $20 person. I go here when I want a snack rather than dinner. I understand that each pizza is "gourmet" but it just doesnt do it for me.

Very disappointed they do not have a gluten-free pizza option. We have heard great things about the pizza, but since one of our party is gluten sensitive, we will not be able to try it. You can always put a disclaimer that it is not quite to your homemade standards, but offered for those who need it. Salad only is not an option when the group wants to go out for pizza!

The food is really good. I live just down the street and smell it all the time. For the price... its a little disproportional. Plus the staff is a mix bag. Some of them are overly friendly and some have this scowl and are pretty abrupt. Its always packed with families and little kids, so theyre doing something right for many.

Very family friendly, but the very large open space can be crazy with families in the evening. Lots of kids, not all being watched closely by parents can result in a loud, chaotic evening. Pizza is good. Would not recommend if you dont have kids though - since it could be a bit much (at least in the early evening)

Delicious pizzas if you like the thin crusts. Good salad options, large and small. The place gets quite loud and conversations can be hard with larger groups. Very kid friendly. Gratuity is now included as part of your check, which is great for the staff. I wish prices on the menu would include it, too.

The pizza is very good. The Giovanni pizza is a great white pie with arugula, tomatoes and great cheese. Everybody in my party was very happy with their selections. The food was prompt, the service super friendly and the atmosphere is fun and casual. They also have a fun selection of gelati. Molto Bene!

Great atmosphere for families and large groups. The pizzas are very well made, with a great menu of other items thats perfect for sharing family style. Wait staff is friendly and very attentive. The 18% charge on every check is worth it knowing the staff here can make a decent living doing what they do.

Wonderful ambiance -- great place to go with friends or family. Their wood-fired Neapolitan pizza is perfection defined. They also have a great selection of salads. For dessert, try their gelato -- its really good, but my preference is to take a short walk to Molly Moons Ice Cream afterwards!

Great place to take the family. The pizza and salads are both very good. They serve thin style pizza here so as long as your ok with that youll enjoy it. It can get very busy especially on a Friday or Saturday night so be prepared for a wait. Well worth it though.

Excellent food, though dont look for that Italian dinner that will send you home nice and full, for that one must head north to Mill Creek and check out a small neighborhood lovely Italian joint called Callabria. Same price, better food and you will be full.

Good wood-fired pizzas served up in a family friendly dining room - perhaps too family friendly at times. Never fear, it is a huge dining room, so there is usually an area into which one can escape when the dulcet tones of the wee ones overwhelm the space.

If youre looking for an overpriced soggy pizza & inhaling smoke from an unventilated wood oven, that is the place for you... Oh, and mandatory 20℅ tip makes sure service is not good. So Manny better places for pizza Im surprised it is still in business.

Tutta Bella is delicious. I love the story behind the restaurants and always enjoy a lunch time personal pizza. It can get a little pricey because most of the ingredients are sourced from Italy itself. But overall its delicious - plus they have GELATO!
