I have a real problem with Fresh Flours. See, I love a good savory pastry and theyve got plenty of them. Carmelized onion. Sausage. I think theres ham and cheese as well. The problem is that their sweet pastries are so delicious, and look so fantastic I always get one of them. The almond croissant is probably the best in town. The nutella toast is a real treat, and the muffins are moist but not sugary sweet. All of their pastries are top notch in appearance and taste. The espresso is also very well done. I believe they use Stumptown beans, and the baristas can all pull a great shot. The drip coffee is always fresh and delicious too. The Ballard location can get busy on Sundays during the farmers market, but the Phinney Ridge location has always has plenty of seats when Ive been there.

Came here for breakfast. Ordered a latte and a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was pre-made, they took it out of the wrap and heated up after you order. I have no problem with premade sandwich, however, they heat it up with arugula inside. The arugula came out all soft and droopy, which didnt taste good. On top of it, the egg is dry/hard and flavor is bland. I would not order the breakfast sandwich again. Instead, I will simply just chose something from their fresh pastry section. They have good selection and tasty fresh pastry. Oh...and the coffee is not bad either.

French delectibles with Japanese sensibility and taste. Im in heaven. Go out on a limb and try the adzuki bean croissant. This is also a great location because you can pick up tokara wagashi here. Fresh flours is simply heaven for me. Excellent coffee, great staff, Japanese influence French pastries that go beyond the span of the typical (OMG Basque cake!!) Pastry fare.

I basically get one thing here: the chocolate covered almond croissant. Delicious. Lots of almonds, light & crispy layers, & tastes incredible! Great stop, to get a tasty pastry & coffee, just before a morning visit to Woodland Park Zoo (west entrance) just down the street. I never pass on a visit to FF when in the neighborhood...neither should you!

This place has some of the most DELICIOUS pastries I have ever had. Seriously. The flakiest croissants, savory "meat pies" and tarts that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are flavorful. One bite and youll find yourself closing your eyes and saying "Oh my gooood... So good!" I would also recommend the macaroons. Theyre pretty intense.

I dont understand how this place has so many good reviews. the macaroons are horrible. taste like they had been sitting there for weeks. croissants are mediocre at best. The muffins are ok. There are places way better than this.

A nice little coffee shop with good internet and excellent coffee. A large table if you have a big group. The pastries looked great too but didnt have the money to try them sadly. $.55 drip coffee refills a plus
