Really? $3.30 for a cup of battery acid? My stomach had a bad reaction to this coffee/poison. Not that Ive tasted battery acid, but I imagine this is what it tastes like. Worst cup of coffee Ive ever had. Also because it was my first time here, I especially appreciated the rude response to me bringing my dirty mug to the front. I was trying to be a polite customer to do this but instead, I was told, that I was suppose to take it to the other side of the counter. Leave it to Seattle and its hidden rules of behavior that they expect everyone else to follow and dont tell you from the beginning. The place was also muggy had a negative vibe, and the floors shook as people walked across them. For a three dollar mug of coffee, they could have better construction and better service. Bad place to study or to have a work meeting. Glorified Battery Acid Ensuring Diarhea is a better name for this place. I wont be back mainly for my medical wellbeing!!!! Dont do it! Just dont even try it!

My husband and I, retirees, really enjoy the coffee, the service . . . but find seating is not to our liking. We like to sit at a table seating 4 at the most. We do not feel comfortable sitting at a table where one person is busy at work, computer, personal items on the table. Or to sit at a table enjoying a quiet cup of coffee together and suddenly here comes a family of 4-5 individuals (nothing against the family) but it is kind of an invasion for both parties. We have watched several situations which looked rather uncomfortable. The seats at the counters are great for those busy working their computers. We would feel much safer if the counter chairs had backs. In spite of it all, the coffee and staff are great.

Diva has pretty good cold brew and espresso thats in line with the area. Not bad by any means, but its nothing to write home about. They have a parking lot, which is a huge plus, and great tables to work or eat at. However, my biggest issues with this place has to do with their food. I wish their pastry case had more consistency to it (their savory biscuits are so tasty when you can get them!) and that they had an oven to heat up food. Right now they use a panini press, which isnt terrible but I dont think Ive ever gotten a fully heated through item off of that machine. All in all this isnt a bad place to visit when youre in the area.

Great coffee and top service. Coffee, light snacks and sandwiches (pre-made but theyll heat them up for you), baked goods. They also roast and sell their own beans. Not enough room for the long lines of people (they often have) or for people to hang out and drink coffee. But theyre planning to expand (soon?). Dog friendly but pooches stay outside. Kids or other-abled welcome but, again, room is very tight. Parking lot is small too, and that probably wont be fixed/expanded (cant see how). (Sister location / similar fare is down the street at 85th.)

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised the third time I visited this venue. I never ordered during my previous visits since I was accompanying a friend; however, I had the delicious opportunity to enjoy a Blueberry Cobbler Muffin and one of Diva Espressos amazing Strawberry Scones this time around. And heck yeah, their goodies are much better than Starbucks. The Ice Princess Vanilla was FANTASTIC. I cant say that enough. Im definitely a new fan.

Need more vegan pastries always gone when I stop in. I dont get coffee so next best thing is scrumpious vegan scones. Wood chairs are hard to sit in, I liked it before the remodel. It had old antigue chairs that at least were comfortable. Feels open and stale, compared to what it was but thats my opinion. Definitely a stop and go place, not a do some work eat and drink place.

Ive been going there since about 2004 and they consistently have the best coffee and the best hot chocolate. Im very picky about my coffee and have only had coffee as good in one other coffee shop in Seattle. The staff seems to change a lot but everyone they hire is always very friendly and seem to catch on quick on remembering drinks.

Always friendly, welcoming baristas. The place is clean and comfortable. The coffee? Outstanding and smooth! Whomever said it was spurs is delusional and doesnt u understand what high quality coffee is. The prices arent any higher than other coffee shops, especially one that roasts their own beans!!

The coffee here is fantastic! Their pastry selection is one of the best around. The new remodel is great, but the parking lot is still a nightmare. And more often than not something goes wrong with my food order. Ill still be coming back in hopes they smooth out that bump in service.

Good beans, average espresso drinks, decent space. Its a good coffee place for locals, I wouldnt recommend going out of your way to try it. The decor leaves something to be desired.

Decent enough espresso and good drip coffee. They have an assortment of pastries including a vegan scone. There arent a lot of tables so if its busy you might not get a table.

As long as I have lived in north Seattle (20+yrs), Diva Espresso has been our favorite local coffee shop. Simple unassuming always a smile from every barista.

The space is good, have a lot of seating now that is remodel. Have a good amount of pastries and their Chai tea latte is the best!
