Date: September 2nd 2016 / Time: around 7:00pm / Table #7 This was our first time visiting La Hacienda Santa Fe restaurant in Renton, WA. Upon arrival we were greeted by the super friendly staff, and immediately seated. A minute later, a basket of warm tortilla chips, salsa, and fresh pic o de gallo was brought over to our table, and our server Arturo handed us the menus. Everything in the menu looked great! After a couple of minutes, we decided for the Carne Asada, with a Chicken Quesadilla as the appetizer. I ordered a Tamarindo Margarita out of curiosity, and it was awesome! It was so good, I had to have another one! :) We were still enjoying the chips when the food was brought to our table. It was delicious! Best Carne Asada Ive had here in WA. The chicken quesadilla was great as well, and huge! After dinner, we ordered the Churros for dessert. Soooo good! The restaurant setting is very quaint, relaxing, and friendly. There was music always playing, but it was at the perfect volume - loud enough to be clear, but not so loud it was distracting. The service was Top Notch! From the moment we entered the restaurant, everyone there was extremely courteous and professional. Arturo, and the rest of the staff, truly made it a very pleasant experience. I live in Kent, but Ill be coming back to la Hacienda Santa Fe in Renton every time I have a craving for amazing Mexican food in a very nice and friendly place. Thank you!

Not a good experience at all. I went to their buffet on a Sunday with my two girls both below age 12. They charged me $9.95 for my 2 year old and $14.95 for my 12 year old. When I was told twelve and under were considered kids price. Additionally, my total bill came out to $90 they charged me $109 without my authorization. I handed the card to the owner assuming I would get charged the $90 then I would be able to add the tip. I asked the owner is this even legal? I gave you my card to charge me the $90 then I would add the tip. He responds well thats our tip and started stuttering. BEWARE they are a thieves. Not a good place at all.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Renton, and Ive been to all of them. I always splurge on the grande house Marguerita, even though its $9 or $10. I have never had a bad meal here. If you order steak, ask for it rare (Mexican restaurants typically serve a very thin steak) so its not overcooked. The chicken quesadilla melts in your mouth, it is so good. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. I think it may have recently changed hands (the new owner is East Indian or a Pakistani; very nice man), but the staff seems to be the same. And the food is still delicious!

Are there more than 5 stars available? Because they deserve much more! This has been one of the best Mexican restaurants Ive ever been to. The food is so delicious and the people are so friendly! I felt like I was back in Jalisco being able to talk to everyone because they were so nice! I wish I could take Javier back to Ellensburg so he can open up a restaurant there. We will be coming back every time we come back to Renton.

Great Food, Great Family Restaurant1 This the best restaurant I have gone to in Renton. The owners are always there to help with anything you need and are very attentive, I have been going to this restaurant for 8 years ever since I moved to Washington State. Love there Sunday Buffet 11am to 3pm They have the most typical Mexican dishes for me to choose from. LOVE IT!

Very nice restaurant. The host and service was impeccable. The food tasted very good and there was plenty on the plate. My only detraction is that one of the the things I ordered was the chile relleno, my grandmother made them with a nice battered crust. These may have had them but there was so much sauce poured on it that if there was it quickly dissolved.

We had a large gathering here and were served buffet style. The staff was very friendly and the owners checked on us often. In a previous visit, I enjoyed a tasty burrito and the guacamole was absolutely delicious. This place is good for family, a few friends or even a large party/celebration; the management really bends over backwards to accommodate you.

Excellent traditional Mexican food at a reasonable cost. Very family- and group-friendly environment. Though the name is now "La Hacienda Santa Fe," it is still the same La Hacienda it has been for the last decades. Have been here enough times (including ordering take-out) to have tried just about everything on the menu, and have never come away unhappy.

Javier and family will treat you right - outstanding service, consistently good food, authentic Jalisco-style Mexican cooking. My wife and I have been going there for about 8 years, every other Sunday. Sunday brunch is high quality and reasonably priced. If you try La Hacienda, you will never go to Azteca again.

I have been coming here for years now. Havie and his staff are amazing. Not only are you welcomed into a friendly family establishment you are treated like family! The food is always the best. Everything I have ever had has been fantastic. My all time favorite is the Ceviche and chile rellenos.

Food was delicious. Pico with the chips while waiting was some of the best Pico Ive had. The Arroz con pollo was amazing. It was a bit different from other places in that in had a thicker tomato sauce. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Ill come back.

Wonderful all the way around! We are in from out of town and this place reminds us of our favorite place back home. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home, the food is delicious and the prices for the food is great too. Dont hesitate to go!

The best in Renton!!! Have tried other spots over the years and keep coming back because the food is consistently good and the service is always prompt and courteous. Best menu item? -- its all good but the carne asada is especially flavorful.
