One star because the food was standard Red Robin fare...beyond that, zero stars. Zero. We frequent Red Robin quite often, not this location, but the folks who have visibility of our Rewards account know, we like us some Red Robin! But!!!... Ive never eaten at a restaurant of any type, and had the experience linger in such a foul and disturbing way such as tonight. We were seated, just fine. Our server was initially, very deceptively pleasant...again, standard expectation for Red Robin. We are accustomed to friendly and attentive service. Apparently not in Issaquah. Maybe theres a different standard on the east side...maybe the training is a bit different...maybe in Issaquah they have lower standards, but I would find that remarkably difficult to believe. Our server became a ghost...well, not really, we could clearly see her congregating with the other Red Robin staff around their order station. Note to Red Robin in Issaquah, if youre going to allow your associates to stand around doing nothing, perhaps dont put the computer in the middle of the dining and seating area where your guests have crystal clear visibility of their wait staff talking....standing....doing literary nothing...not getting refills, not asking about our visit, not bringing the refills requested after finally nabbing her attention from the boys by the order station...Not correcting the fact that somewhere between you entering our order and the kitchen preparing our order there was a mistake made on our sons burger...not doing anything....hell, in Issaquah the servers dont even say goodbye! Or thank you! Or anything?!? She literally avoided us, avoided eye contact, avoided conversation, avoided interaction, avoided all social, professional, reasonable accords of service and accommodation we would expect as a bare minimum considering you are an employee at a restaurant whos role is to provide friendly and engaging service!.... I digress, terrible visit. Terrible. And we have never given any other Red Robin less than exemplary feedback. Awful. Its as if we offended this girl with our very presence. Wont be back to this location. Ever. And I hope this isnt a trend that spreads throughout the Red Robin brand.

My group came on a crowded Friday night, so we anticipated that the service might be a bit slower than usual, but our server managed to bungle even the most basic tasks. She served us our appetizers, but no plates. We tried to flag her down, but no luck. When we flagged down her supervisor, his first instinct was not to solve the problem, but to drop a wisecrack about "Eat with Your Fingers Day." And he didnt even solve the problem. He brought us one serving tray. An hour after we had been seated, a different server came by with some platters. Wrong table. How did we know? Because she realized her mistake and walked away without another word. Oh well. Our main server basically ignored us for the better part of the evening until she showed up to tell us that "new computer systems" were slowing everything down. Fair enough, not your fault, Miss, but how about not leaving us completely in the dark? Or if youre going to do that, make sure the AC unit isnt going to leave us half-frozen in the meantime. Wed had enough and asked her for the bill so we could pay for our drinks and she proceeded to charge us for everything- including the burgers we hadnt received. Thats when we told the manager that this was unacceptable and we left. We have been going to this Red Robin for the past 15 years and have never had an issue like this up until now. What happened?

I havent been here in a long time. 1. We made reservations over a month ago for a party of 12 for a birthday. We called the week before to confirm and they said all was good. When we arrived, they took us to our area which was 4 tables split up over an area. They apologized and told us they could have a table ready soon. 2. An hour goes by and we finally get a table. 3. We all order right away, then our food came out in waves of one dish here, one dish there, over the course of an hour and 20 minutes!!! The worst part was the server was nice and did an ok job, so I felt I had to tip. 4. So after 2 hours and twenty minutes we all finally have our food. Some had to be sent back because it was cold. 5. By the level of service, I wasnt expecting a lot. As we looked around, people we coming and going with there food right on time. It seems the larger party was already considered a loss so they didnt care. They took off one meal for the bad service. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. READ THE REVIEWS ON YELP. The manager said they just fired there GM as an excuse. She also tried to say they were short staffed due to everyone going back to school. AS A MANAGER YOU PREPARE FOR THOSE THINGS. Did I mention we had several kids with us, as this was for a one year olds birthday?

My party and I did not feel like a priority. My last two visits have been poor enough to stop me from coming back. After being seated (at a very slow time with 1/4 of the restaurant full) we waited to be revisited for far too long. 15 minutes after ordering our milkshakes, our waiter pays enough attention to realize that we havent gotten them yet. He says someone forgot to make them and they are being made now. The visit prior, our waitress accused us of spiking drinks with a shot that was ordered, claiming the manager saw it happen. We asked to speak to the manager and they were surprised to hear about the accusation. With this girl, we had to ask multiple times to get our bottomless fries refilled (which are very small portions now!!). Each time, she seemed annoyed or surprised that we would want our *bottomless* fries refilled. We had to reorder multiple items that never came out as well, which is understandable if the waiter apologizes and is kind about it, but this girl was aloof. The prices on the items have been jacked up $1-$4 and I have NEVER received worse service except at Dennys before the location closed. Not returning.

Ive been a long term patron of Red Robin, but after the way I was just treated will never give them my business again. We went into the Issaquah location with 2 friends down from Canada. We sat in the bar and when the waitress asked for ID, she took one of the Canadian IDs and disappeared. When she finally returned, she asked for a passport and stated that the ID is not a valid form of ID. When we asked to speak to a manager, she was rude and asked us to vacate the bar while she attempted to get the manager to come talk to us. When he finally came out and I questioned why he was refusing service and would not accept the ID, when on the Washington state liquor control board website it states that any Canadian ID is valid. This is after the waitress said that we had to vacate the bar because its an invalid ID and they would get a fine. When the manager, Mike Mills, finally came out he was rude, and said it was a Red Robin policy but he wouldnt show us the policy. Frankly, after the way we were treated, over a completely legal ID I will never do business there again.

Our family has had a little tradition of celebrating birthdays at Red Robin. We have been doing this for the past 15 years. When we asked our daughter where she wanted to go for her B-Day dinner naturally she said Red Robin in Issaquah . We were seated and she was beaming looking forward to her sundae after her meal. Well unfortunately once we were seated we became invisible to the waitstaff. There was a waitress named Alex that passed us about six or so times as we were seated in her section. She went to check the two other tables in our section several times and they werent in need of anything. She made eye contact with us each time. Several others passed us looked over at us and kept going. The kids were looking around asking when will they come. After waiting patiently for 20 minutes we decided that if the service was this poor everything else would be horrible as well. We stood up to leave and were finally noticed by a waitperson from a different section he tried to apologize but it was far too late. Thanks Red Robin for ruining our girls birthday tradition!
