My co-worker and I went here for lunch hoping to have an enjoyable experience cause of the such good reviews we read, however that just the opposite. When we entered the restaurant it reaked of a disgusting smell, should have taken the hint then, however we sat down anyway. The server was rude and bland acting as if our being there was annoying to him. He served us hard chips with salsa that had NO flavor. I ordered the Breakfast tacos thinking " Chorizo, Egg and Beans?" you cannot mess that up, well I was wrong. It looked like dog food. I will never be back again, and I will make sure that none of the people I know will be back either.

I went to this place today and i had the worst experience ever, fist of once i walked in tgere was a man on hes phone and ensted of sitting me down he went to go look for some one else to sit me down.. 2) when i got sat down my server took 20 min to bring me my drink and was really rude ( short skiny guy with color eyes somewhat dark skin) and found out that the guy that did not sit me down because he was on hes phone was the manager.. NEVER COMMING BACK!!!

Barely sat down and there were hot chips and delicious salsa in front of us. The servers understood us easily and were very attentive. The food is amazing. Hands down the best Mexican Ive ever had. The portions are generous without being too much. My husband had the Texas fajitas and I had the Quesadilla Fajita. Delicious! Cant wait to go back and try their margaritas. VERY reasonable prices, too. Absolute home run. So grateful for Google reviews.

Amazing!!! Im from Texas so Tex-Mex is a must in my life. When I came to VA for training in the Army I was devastated that I couldnt drive down the street and get tacos. My wife came up here to visit for the weekend and we wanted to eat Mexican food, low and behold here we find el arriero. Service was amazing food how I would want it in Texas. Biggest mug of beer ever and my wifes margarita was huge!!!! Would fully recomend

Place was a little old and outdated.. could be cleaner. Had the burrito with steak....it came warm, not hot, the vegetables inside were under cooked and I had maybe 6 pieces of dried and shriveled steak!my drink was cool, not cold and had very little tequila in it. The refried beans were not palatable and looked like they came from a can. Spend your money elsewhere!

The food was amazing and the service was good to. They were very attentive. Make sure if thou are making special requests to be clear, as English wss our servers 2nd language, but they fixed my daughters order very quickly. I cant recommend this enough.

Not impressed at all. 2 baskets of chips before we even got our food. The first basket was all crumbs and broken. Food was luke warm and plates were cold. You can judge a lot from a taco and this one sucked. Staff friendly thats about it.

While on the road passing through we showed up 5 minutes before closing and the staff were eager to seat us. We decided to make it a quick take out so not to hold up the staff. Food was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend!
