Called in a few days before for a late night reservation. The hostess told us that if there were people in the bar they would not close early. We had a group of about 20 people who were ordering drinks and food after a wedding. The bouncers were rude while carding people because majority of us were from out of state. They also were giving the older people hard time for coming. The blonde bartender was very nice but the rest seemed very disinterested and all huddled the service bar talking to each other, even though people were trying to buy drinks. At 1:15 the bouncer decide to call last call and instantly started flipping chairs over and making it very clear it was time to leave. As they ushered us out the door they refused to let my brother wait for his wife who was in the bathroom and made him stand next to the door until she came out. We decided to go here because we wanted to support a small local business but honestly we would have received better service at the Fridays next door.

the food is really good! my favorites are the french onion soup and the cheesesteak sandwich. however, the service has a LOT to improve. one time our server LEFT without telling us, and we sat there for like 30 minutes and a manager never even came to tell us. we had to ask for the server and no one knew where he was, and then finally a manager came and told us that the waiter had to leave for some emergency. wouldnt you think the management would figure that that waiters tables need to be helped after he left??? heads up their *** also - just in general, the servers seem to stand around and chat and flirt with eachother more than they are worried about refilling our drinks or asking how our food is. they are lucky the food is good. if it werent for the service, i woulda given them a 5.

Im a contractor. I come up to this area with frequency and lodge nearby, which makes city grille a convenient walking destination. Its usually on point, but i just stopped there for 1 drink on the way to my hotel and got threatened by the bouncer/ door guy. He was an absolute prick. It was 126am, he said were closing ,so i said oh ok would you mind if i used the bathroom real fast and ill get outta here. We just had our company xmas party nearby. His response was "No, and if you dont move ILL MOVE YOU". Im an industry man and have trained with some of the best security Men out there. This guy sucks. Period. Ive spent lots of money in there over the years and no patron deserves to be spoken to like that. Go back to the weight room pal. And Merry Xmas everyone. :)

We enjoyed the Sunday bunch buffet very much. There is an omelet bar where you pick your ingredients and it is made right in front of you, so it is customized and fresh. Fresh waffles are made constantly in front of you with lots of different topping to pick from. There are also plenty of fresh fruit, danishes. muffins, sausage, bacon, potatoes, biscuits, sausauge and cream chipped gravy, scrabbled eggs...typical breakfast food. Some items seemed out of place (mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese..) but it didnt bother me either, I just slipped over that part. The mimosas for $3.50 were great. Our server (I think his name was Brandon) was polite and did his job very well. We will return for this brunch and continue to support locally owned businesses.

My family went to the Grille on Mothers Day. My mother-in-law, who is never happy with anything loved the fried fish. She kept commenting on how huge the 2 pieces were, she couldnt eat it all! [She did.] :-) My husband ordered the ribs and onion rings, both were amazing! The onion rings were not those diced onions but the real thing! I ordered the steak medium and while it came out over well, the flavor of the pepper sauce was wonderful. The next time I would stress, nicely, that I wanted it to be pink in the middle. My sister-in-law ordered shrimp and it came with a lovely salad, full of cucumbers, onions, croutons and so forth. All of that came to under $50 for the entire meal. Truly a hidden treasure in Manassas.

The first time we tried this place was almost as bad, but we decided to give it another shot. The service is horrible. Tonight I had the seafood linguine which was decent. It wasnt anything to write home about, but decent enough. It would have been much better if the tails were taken off the shrimp and the tough side muscle was removed from the scallops. I had to dig through my linguine and fix it all in order to eat it. The waiter was even more rude and condescending than the one we had on our first visit. My husband finally went to the bar himself and ordered our second drinks. It was a horrible experience and we will not be returning.

Great Sports atmosphere, very good service and prices were okay. Lots of great beer choices. Garden salad was fresh and lots of variety, very good. Onion rings were also very good. However DO NOT order the MontiCristo sandwich. Made with loaf white bread, meager meat and cheese and barely breaded and definitely not deep fried as normal. Then served with two PACKETS of Strawberry jam instead of raspberry jam sauce. Completely inadequate. Burger and prime rib must be their specialty. Most around me ordered thus and it looked good.i will try one more t u me and report back.

Food was horrible! My wife ordered the shrimp scampi and it was the worst shrimp scampi she ever had. Not believe her I tried it and I had to agree. Its like they cooked the pasta and put it on the plate in some nasty yellow lemon sauce thats not seasoned. Therefore, she left there hungry. Everything was just average. The only thing good was that they make their drinks strong. If this was a bar they would give them 3 stars however it a diner and a diner should have good food. We should have went to olive garden because we paid the same and the food is much better there!

If it was not from the waiter when me and my lady coming to have dinner. I stop by on a Friday evening to have a drink the bouncer was rude just had his hand out no hello or anything. I just looked at him he then said ID I said O thats what you want. He said have you ever walked in a bar. I said where they have manners. And say hello ID please I ran security business before. My guys understand if customers dont come in then they dont have a job.

From Liberia Avenue to the 243 this is the only place worth going in Manassas but it exceeds all expectations formerly owned by Greeks many of the items on the menu or Greek inspired but my favorites or the Cajun rockfish and the prime rib OMG the prime rib. Bartenders are phenomenal, every one of them are fast and loose and experienced just the way I like it. I give this place an A ++ and I will miss you when I leave, Brian w/an "I"

Overall it was "okay." My steak was tasty, and while a bit thin, very tender. The wifes Reuben was very bland (which is something a reuben is not know for.) Salad was generic and uninspired. Service was very slow (sat with no drink refill for 15 minutes) , but food came out fast. Happy hour prices were not extended to table service, and I wasnt allowed to get the $8.99 prime rib because I had a coupon??
