So I couldnt wait to go here when they opened, I had a bakery walking distance from my apartment! Ive been wanting to write a review for a while. I love this place! Lets see, firstly, the cupcakes melt in your mouth and the icings are very decadent. The lemon cupcakes are my favorite, and thats coming from a choco-holic! Next, the cookies... I am a cookie freak! I love Chocolate Chip cookies, but I usually never get them from a bakery. These are an exception to that rule, they are as close to the home-made cookies that I remember... Only theyre bigger! And dont even get me started on the Chocolate Crackle cookies! They are just that, CRACK! Ive also had their Carrot Cake, which probably is my favorite. Its as close to perfection as I can imagine. Then theres the Napoleon, you just have to eat one... Trust me. The atmosphere is pleasant and bright, the staff are very attentive and helpful. Its about time that theres another good bakery in town. Im no longer on the same side of town, but Im more than happy to visit this bakery. I hope that the word gets out about how convenientally located they are to the greater Richmond area.

When I saw the Art and Delights Bakery sign go up, "opening soon!" I could not wait for the bakery to open! I had a really good feeling about it. As soon as the doors opened I came in and was greeted by the owner who made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in! The cookies I sampled were absolutely delicious!! Not long after, I started becoming a regular. I have my favorites now, the Butterfinger cookies and the Double Chocolate Chunk cookies are out of this world! The cupcakes melt in your mouth! My favorites are the Lemon, Coconut Cream, and the Ferrero Rocher. Another one of my favorites is the Carrot Bread, it was so good that I was hooked! The young lady at the front counter is so friendly and knowledgeable, she brightens up the bakery!! The staff, bakers and owner are outstanding!! Sincerely, A Very Happy Customer :-)

Cute, family fun bakery. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The chocolate crackle cookies & snickers cookies are my favorites! The cupcakes are tasty and creative but change weekly so Id call ahead if you were looking for a specific one!

I was blessed to receive a dozen carrot cupcakes for my Birthday from this business and the cupcakes were awesome. I would highly recommend Art and Delights Bakery.
