If you are thinking about ordering from this place, please read this review first. Please do not order from this place. I ordered from Jasmine Garden for delivery for the first time today because I received one of their flyers in my mailbox and because I am sick and not able to leave my home. I ordered the veggie fried rice and the vegetarian delight. BTW, they refused to honor the 10% coupon that was on their menu, but that was no biggie. The delivery arrived quickly enough and the delivery guy was nice. But when I opened my order and started eating the veggie fried rice, I bit into something completely foul. I spit it out and tried a few more bites. Again, I bit into something spoiled rotten. It was a cube of carrot (of the frozen peas and carrot variety) that was used in the fried rice. It was completely putrid. I stopped eating and immediately called Jasmine Garden to report that there was something wrong. What was their response? Did they go test the carrots? No. Did they ask if they could deliver a new order without the carrots? No. As soon as I reported the spoiled food, I heard them yelling/screaming in Mandarin (I speak Mandarin) in the background, saying things like, "thats crazy!" "shes lying!" "tell her theres nothing wrong with the carrots!" "shes insane!" (among other insults). They said all this without testing the carrots to find out if there was something wrong. All I wanted was to warn them that they had bad food on their hands. Their response? "The carrots are not bad, they are just overcooked." The crazy woman I talked to challenged me to drive out to the restaurant with the order to prove it. REALLY? I asked if they would test the carrots in their possession. I challenged them to swallow it. No. They refused to try to spoiled carrots. The woman told me that if I did not return the fried rice to their restaurant, there was nothing they would do. I told her that I was sick and could not go out, but she said that was my problem. So I told her that if they did not do something about it, I would call my credit card company and reverse the charges for the full order. Upon hearing that threat, the woman finally decided to call her manager to see if there was anything she could do. Then she hung up on me. When she called me back, she told me that the manager agreed to not charge me for the fried rice. She then told me that they would never deliver to me again. REALLY? A spiteful decision based on my legitimate complaint? Actually, that was fine with me. Because after I tried the fried rice, I also tested the vegetarian delight and it was very disappointing. The food was terrible, and there are so many better Chinese restaurants in the area (including those that deliver), that I really was not going to miss this place. Based on the food, I wouldnt have ordered again, anyway. Good riddance. Food Quality: Poor. Greasy, rotten food drenched in bad sauces. I had to rinse the veggies in water and still couldnt get the grease out. Service: Deplorable. No customer should ever be treated this way. Prices: Higher than most Chinese take out and delivery in the area. Just dont do it.

FOUL TASTING SUSHI, UNBELIEVABLY RUDE MANAGER, INEDIBLE "CHEFS SPECIAL" - MY WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE IN 10 YEARS! We used to go to Jasmine Garden from 2010 until early 2014 and it was above average. ... NOT ANYMORE! I dont know Id they have changed owners or if they are on their way out of business, but the employees, the manager and their food will certainly put them out of business soon. 20 minutes to get their phone to ring (it was busy) and then got put on hold for 5 minutes by the manager! She couldnt understand me (I speak English) and I had to repeat my order FOUR times. She said they were "SO BUSY IT MOTHERS DAY", though when I got there the place was less than half full and there was only 1 other man waiting on carryout. I paid and took my food back to Fairfax Hospital to surprise my wife who was caring for our son who was admitted the day before only to find that the female "manager" at Jasmine Garden FORGOT to put my wifes meal in the carryout bag. 10 more minutes of busy signals and then 3 minutes on hold later the manager told me they were too busy to deliver the food they neglected to give me and that I needed to come back and get it and then she hung up on me. After paying $5 to exit the parking garage and leaving my food to get cold so that I could retrieve my wifes Mothers Day meal, the "manager" did not apologize and refused my demand to at least pay for the extra parking that I had to spend too retrieve my food. No discount, rude behavior and food that rivaled something you could buy in the grocery store Chinese canned food section. The sushi was old tasting and inedible. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO TO JASMINE GARDEN. I recommend that you dont go either. I was just ripped off for $34 and insulted several times in the process. Stay away!

edit 8/21 never eating here again >>> Glad my gf refused to eat the chicken fried rice(with onion); there was shrimp in it which she is allergic to. I specifically wrote under additional instruction we had a shellfish allergy and they needed to avoid cross contamination * * * * Online ordering takes quite a long time (this last order took 1.5hr) and for whatever reason they often miss additional instruction like no onions , ect. I called about an hour after waiting for my order and was told it was already on the way. Driver called 25 min later and said he was about to show... 5 min later he showed up. He rushed in and apologized. I signed for the order but it seemed to be a little bit more than I remember the total coming in at. I was once previously told the online ordering price was wrong for some items... why hasnt it been fixed if they know this? Anyway it was 1.5hr after the fact and I just wanted to eat so I didnt check. Went upstairs and opened up the order to find onions where they shouldnt be. Called again and was told "sorry I didnt see that" right after she said online ordering takes a long time. Then she hung up. I guess they get enough business that they can deal with people as they like. I wont be among that business anymore. Food is normally decent but it isnt worth the hassle. Good luck

What a disgusting place!!! we went there on last Friday night. In the middle of the dinner, my six year old son wanted to use the mans bathroom and the door was locked for more than 10 minutes. The waitress knocked on the door a couple of times, nobody answered, and she thought the door might be accidentally locked. So she knocked and tried to use the key to unlock the door. Then, a rude Chinese voice answered. The waitress left and my son was still waiting outside the mans room. Five minutes later, the door finally opened and a Chef came out and used "F" word to a six years boy, who has been waited 15 minutes outside of that damn bathroom. Besides that, that dirty guy didnt even bother to wash his hands and went back directly to kitchen....If I could give a zero star, I wont hesitate.
