Pizza paper thin, little cheese, thick sliced pepperoni, asked for black olives and got overly large and salty kalomata olives which really changes the pizza. And like others I consider myself a pizza officionada. Kids even made the same remarks before I did. However, better than the chains but not as good as previous cape charles pizza makers. Not even close. Hopefully mine was just a bad lot, that is, all 3 of them I ordered. Others like it thoughon the reviews so give em a trybut dont expect jersey shore or new York style wonderfulness.

Great service, our waitress wasted no time to get our orders. She was extremely friendly and we had a great conversation. We sailed to Cape Charles and stayed at the town marina. Deadrise Pies is only a short walk from there. Pizza was very good. I would definitely come here again. If your order doesnt come out right, the staff makes sure you get the best that you can get. Its hard to find down-to-earth local restaurants like this anymore.

Much needed pizza place in Cape Charles. Very good pizza and nice atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly, but it did take over 30 minutes for a cheese pizza. The place could also use some air conditioning, but overall it was a nice pizza experience.

When it first opened it was impossible to get a pizza because the doughs always sold out, but its finally settled down a little and its amazing pizza. Cool decor as well
