Best, cold, fresh, and reasonably priced beer in the Salt Lake Valley. Their food is to dye for, I recommend the burgers, pulled pork (their BBQ sauce is something special) and the mexican candy wings. But the people there are THE BEST. I wrote in to their Facebook page because my father-in-law is a vegetarian and they didnt have many options so I requested a black bean burger of some sort and within the week someone wrote me back and said theyd look into it. And when we went there the next week they had added black bean burgers to the menu. I mean you expect good service from the servers and bartenders but to also get that service from whoever runs their social media. I am impressed!

Youve probably driven past this place and had no idea that it exists. Its apparently brand new, and there isnt much competition around it. According to the older, fake breasted, heavily tattooed, very kind bartender, they packed out for the Rousey fight and there was standing room only. When I went for lunch we were the only ones in there however. We didnt eat a ton, but what we did have was pretty tasty. I cant speak on the nightlife, but if youre looking to get a lunch time drink and a sandwich, I think this place should fall on your radar...as long as you dont let your lunch time activities fall on your boss radar.

Firstly it is important to know I would consider this a bar first and a grill second. There is not a lot of seating, but that wasnt a problem because for lunch when I went they were dead. The food was good. I had the Philly Cheese Steak. It was cooked well. The roll was fresh and they gave you more fries then most people could eat. The service was slow. The food took quite a while and our drinks were not refilled fast enough. Fix the service and add some tables and they may have something.

The view from 90th South makes this place look small. When you drive into the parking lot and then walk in, it is a very nice sized bar. There are lots of tables to sit at with a big counter area. There are a couple of dart games and lots of TVs all over. I tried the PoBoy sandwich, which was very good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I really like that they stalk High West spirits. I will go back here again.

(Iv been sitting at the bar for 25 min its a slow night 12 in the whole bar, took 10 min to get a drink, gave me a menu and it has been 15 min without asking me what i would like. Girl (bailey i think her name is) has been talking to a couple the entire time i am here. Wont come back, find a new job scooter. Im an advid drinker with cash to blow, but i wont spend here with this service.

Beer is great, Food is fabulous, and the staff is extremely friendly and so fast with our order! I will definitely be going back there more often. I especially love that its not a crowded bar like Bout Time or Wing Nutz all cluttered with tables and people, The Black Sheep has plently of space along with pool tables and an outside smoking area.

Good food, good bar, friendly service, chill environment. Really this is a great pub outside of downtown Salt Lake. Steak Sandwich is ridiculously delicious, and the pulled pork sandwich has a great BBQ sauce on top of flavorful savory pork, combo this with some sweet potato fries and a local beer for optimal results.

Scooter is an amazing bartender who once he learns your name, he knows you and he knows your drink. He knows your drink and knows how to make you feel like you are the only guest who matters. Chris is an amazing mixologist who can conjure up whatever your heart desires!! Good food, good fun,.. You have to go!!!

Watched the UFC fight, played pool, and ate a poboy that was as good as the ones I had in the south (GA and LA). They have pinball, darts, and a couple other arcade games. Great place to chill, hang out, and have a few brews. Get the chilled stein drafts. Recommend the hef.

Sat at the bar. Couldnt find the bar tender, had to ask the waitress serving the tables behind me for a drink. Watched 2 couples come and go because they never got served either. Scooter probably needs to find a new job. Ill never go back or recommend to anyone I know.

Ive only been a handful of times, but the place is always packed for the Utes game. I think the food is money and I love their burgers and sweet potato fries! Even when they were busy, I had great customer service and that will keep me and my friends coming back!

The Black Sheep is a fantastic hangout. The atmosphere is fun and friendly without being rowdy. The service of excellent and the food is some of the best bar food Ive ever eaten. Oh. My. Goodness. Do not pass up the turkey sandwich. Seriously great food.

I particularly enjoy being forced to close out at 10:50 when the bar closes at 1 while the apathetic cocktail waitress mops under my feet. Awesome customer service. Live within walking distance wont be back.

The food is great and the service is excellent! Plus, they show UFC fights. For anybody that hates Buffalo wild wings and doesnt want to pay $90 at home, you cant beat the black sheep!

Good service, food, and atmosphere. I came here in a Thursday night with an old friend. Not very crowded and the server was timely. Tried their Outlaw Bourbon and it was tasty.
