Outstanding excellent service. I was seated by myself on the bar, closest to the kitchen, perhaps thats why everything was so speedy, however I like to think they were pretty on top of everything regardless. I was asked multiple times how things were, if I needed refills and simply how my day was going, it was nice. Service aside, the quality of the food is fantastic. You certainly get your moneys worth and wont leave disappointed. I ordered the Double Park which comes with two eggs, cooked to order (I did over easy), a side of park potatoes and a choice of either sausage or bacon (bacon for me). The eggs came out perfectly, the bacon wasnt your cheap, paper thin crunchy piece of crap, it was 4 BIG pieces of very meaty bacon, hardly any fat on them, just fantastic. The potatoes didnt look like something that was pulled out of a freezer bag and had water added to it, it was nice big chunky bits of potatoes with a nice flavor and moist texture, not all dried up and crumbly. For a beverage I had the spiced chai tea, which is to die for! There was so much flavor in it with just a bit of froth on top to make it elegant as well as delightful, what a treat, excellent flavor and a good temperature to warm you up in the cold, but not blazing hot that burns your tongue on impact. All the staff were very well mannered and the atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting, I noticed many of the other guests were happy and cheery. Overall a great place to bring a good smile and great start to the day! Absolutely recommending this to those looking for a great local cafe.

I really dont get the big deal about this place. Ive lived here for almost 10 years and people have been telling me that I need to eat here. Im not really a huge breakfast guy, so it wasnt at the top of my priority list, plus the fact that when I actually have time to eat out for breakfast on the weekends, theres like an hour wait to get in here. Thats a long wait for a place that doesnt serve alcohol. But the proper opportunity presented itself when I had to take my sister to the airport on a Tuesday morning. So my wife and I called in late to work, woke up, and decided to get a bite here before taking my sister to her flight. Because it was a weekday, there was no wait, and we opted to sit on the patio. Service was fine, but everything, the eggs, the toast, the cheesy potatoes, was all so typical. Not gross, so please dont misunderstand. Nothing here disgusted me. Also, the prices we fair. But yes, the quality of the food? Why are people waiting for an hour to eat an egg I could literally make myself in my own kitchen, in my underwear, while smoking a joint and drinking a mimosa in under 3 minutes for about 35 cents? Its irrational. Not a gross place. Not a bad place. And I try not to leave reviews like this for local establishments, especially ones as storied as the Park Cafe. But they have like 700 reviews with a 4 star average already, so I dont feel bad. Totally mediocre in every way imaginable. No need to ever come back.

I ordered breakfast and added a side of bacon. When the food came out, the bacon was on its own plate and very obviously burnt. I couldnt believe he didnt automatically ask the cook for new bacon. I mean, bacon is not supposed to be white and turn to powder at the slightest touch! I was shocked they would even try to sell bacon this over cooked, especially since the bacon is not cheap. I didnt say anything assuming that the waiter would notice that I havent touched the WHITE bacon I had gone out of my way to add to my order, but nope he didnt say a thing. I refuse to go back considering how many employees had to have LOOKED at the bacon and approved the selling of it, including the cook and the waiter. Ive been here numerous times and been happy with the service, but I cant believe they would even sell the bacon they gave me. It was so obviously not edible that it seemed to be a slap in the face to even bring it out. That is enough for me to know they dont have quality standards.

We go here for everything. They always hot and full coffee, the pancakes, the bacon, the french toast, the home fried potatoes, the burgers, the bacon, the french toast, the always like I like them eggs, the bacon, the kids cakes, the corn beef hash, the bacon. Did I mention the bacon, seriously the best bacon in the city. This is not high cuisine, it is fast, greasy spoon diner food and it is amazing! There is almost always a wait to get in unless you do like us and arrive before 8:30 am. The crowd is as eclectic as the hood the restaurant is located in and that is a GREAT thing. You can take a walk in Liberty Park to ease your swelling when you are done. I mentioned I have two kids. My four year old screams to eat here at least three times a week and calls it the "green house". My two year old calls it the pancake house. Its pleasure spans every generation. Dont go expecting fine dining or long quiet brunch. Expect good breakfast food served fast and cheap.

This is probably the most popular brunch spot i have seen in salt lake. Even in the dead of winter, expect a wait. They are kind enough to offer coffee or hot chocolate for those waiting in the winter cold. The outside tent is incredibly warm, and if they offer to seat you there, Id take them up on it. Much quieter and you wont leave smelling like food. As for the food, its your standard brunch fair. Eggs, omelets, hash. Its decent food, but nothing extraordinary. I had the corned beef hash, my friend had the omelette, we shared some pancakes. Pancakes were good, the homemade jam on the table was delicious, i wasnt in love with their corned beef, it was a bit dry and just not enough. Eggs were great, potatoes were like mashed, but not. Like i said, a decent brunch spot, give it a try.

Never has a restaurant made such an amazing first impression on me. We went for the first time yesterday and there wasnt a single aspect of our visit that wasnt phenomenal. Nothing was even mediocre. Everything was great! Every single employee that we came in contact with was warm, welcoming, accommodating and efficient. (They were especially attentive to the needs of our two-year-old, which was great) We ordered the French Toast Foolishness which was AMAZING. The french toast, the potatoes, the BACON! There wasnt anything that we didnt absolutely love! And the portions were big enough to share between two people. And for $8.50?? Such a deal. All I could talk about on the way home is how were never eating breakfast at home again.

This place is super cute. It reminds me of a lot of little joints out of Richmond, VA. The parking leaves a lot to be desired, but whatever. There wasnt a wait when we came in, but it became packed really fast after we sat down. Service is amazing and everyone was really nice! I had the pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Always had something to drink and never had to ask twice for anything. I dont know about the prices because my people paid for me, but it was really tasty and it was good to just sit and talk for awhile. I will be back to try the French toast! Someone got it nearby and it looked thick and was covered with powdered sugar! Once again, service was amazing!
