I have been going to Mo Bettahs for about a year now and I am incredibly disappointed. Not that anyone will read this or take any action on it (because I dont believe that there will be any change) but Mo Bettahs Mission Statement is to act in Pono which means to strive to do whats right in all that they do. That being, delivering a product to customers that more than justifies what we as customers, have spent on the meal. My husband and I always share the ekolu special. After paying and tipping for always great food, I asked if we could get 2 more sauces (because we share). I was told that I couldnt get any more sauce and they would have to charge me for it if I wanted it. Now I get the premise of this, after working in fast food and due to the fact that they sell their own sauce. But regardless, asking for 2 more sauces and being turned down and told Id have to pay EXTRA When I already tipped and paid and not to mention the disgusting attitude of the teenage boy in which it was said? Unexusable. Definitely not anywhere CLOSE to acting in pono as their statement says. Never tipping again and never asking for anything else extra.

Pork is tender, steak and chicken were tough and tasteless when I got them (just the once and could have been an off day). Macaroni salad is the same as it is many places but only other side option is the boring green salad. Been all over Hawaii and there is very little about the food that is Hawaiian. Discontinued the shaved ice on the menu but havent updated it (was the only thing that was made and looked remotely Hawaiian). Restaurant alway is clean, employees are friendly and not fighting or talking loudly amongst themselves. The pork is excellent, dont get me wrong but now thats the only thing I order. I still go often for the pork and would recommend that to friends but wouldnt say that the steaks are worthy of a Mo Bettah title.

Pretty rough experience. 1. Their food is not authentic. I watched my shrimp come out of a Costco box. 2. Staff was not helpful. I asked questions, they were incompetent. 3. $11+ for 4 pieces of shrimp. Small portions, not worth the money. 4. Staff was careless about customers. We were trying to get in line and a lady kept sweeping even with the words excuse me.. she did not care unless she finished sweeping. The other lady cleaning tables with disinfectant wipes (extremely wasteful) dragged the chairs out, not bad I guess.. just annoying hearing chair after chair being dragged across tile while you are trying to enjoy your dinner. I definitely do not recommend it.

Coming from a Samoan, this is the best poly food Ive ever had - family included. We go out of our way whenever we get a chance from up here in Ogden to go. This also is the restaurant that we take family or friends to that come to Utah from out of town. The restaurant itself has come a long way since it was just a little hole in the wall spot with tables that looked like they were picked up second hand from a Burger King that updated. I can say that I only ever get the Teriyaki Chicken and Kalua Pig plate, so my menus experience is limited. Aside from that, cant recommend this place enough.

Uhhhh Im pretty confused by the reviewer that said they have been all over Hawaii and have not seen a place like Mo Bettah??? Yeah its probably not a place you are going to come across walking around Waikiki...but I just moved here from Kaneohe and I feel like I am back there every time I eat at Mo Bettahs, I think it is absolutely as close to an authentic Hawaiian place to eat as you are gonna see on the mainland.

My favorite place to eat in Utah. Not perfect because depending on time of day you come, the time waiting in line could be 10+ minutes and it can be a bit pricey for some but the portion are large. Overall it is worth it and a must try. They have the typical variety of meats like steak, pork, and chicken but my favorite is the Pulehu Chicken but their most popular is the is the Teriyaki Chicken I believe.

The pork and the chicken were amazing. My boy got the steak and it was good but he managed to find a chunk of bone in the meat. I brought the chunk to the register and the lady informed me it was a bone and that was it. No apology, nothing. I didnt expect anything free, but a "sorry about that" would have been nice. Watch for bones.

The best local food in Davis county...and the food is def on point! The only irritating thing is that "true locals" dont weigh protein on a plate lunch or fill it up with cabbage. Just sayin... The teenagers running the place need a crash course in good customer service.

Has always been one of my favorite places, but the last couple of times I have left disappointed. The service has not been friendly and it always used to be and the portion sizes have gone down to almost nothing. Still love the place, but i miss the old days.

Normally this place is AMAZING, but yesterday my husband had pork that tasted like it was days old and it was so greasy and his rice was hard and crunchy. The worst part is after he ate it he was in and out of the bathroom all night. Very Disappointing...

Like Rumbi Island Grill, but better. I had the mixed mini with kalua pork and fried chicken. Both meats were amazing and the BBQ sauce is unreal good. Inexpensive, super good value. I will definitely go back. Large portions that fill you up good.

Mo Bettah is great, the prices are not bad, especially for the portions. The food is always fresh and quality, the Chicken is my personal favorite, also their Mac Salad is outstanding. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys eating good food.

Love the food here. Its amazing. But holy mother of God, are they sooooo slow. Almost every time I come here I end up waiting at the very least 20 minutes for my food. I would come here way more often if they could just speed it up.

Really good chicken and the rice is pretty good, but the macaroni is kinda sweet. I was a little bummed when I tried the macaroni salad because thats the main draw for me to go there. The staff has been very nice when we go.

I absolutely hated my experience there today!! Not only did one of the cooks roll her eyes at me, but I didnt even any of the steak I ordered! Great food and I usually love eating here, but the service sucks.

Salad was expensive and not big. The meat I had put on it was dry and poorly seasoned. Ive been twice and havent been impressed with the food. Staff was friendly enough- a bunch of high school kids.

These guys serve the best Hawaiian cuisine that I have had in northern Utah. Portions are huge and the price is good. I would recommend calling ahead so that you dont have to wait in line to order.

I have had everything on the menu its all good love this place! Service is always fast and the place is always nice and clean, great place for groups or catering as well if you have a party.
