Quaint, convenient setting on the square with kind baristas. It delivers a nice service and cozy ambiance. However, I find the beans here of average quality. Unimpressed that their cappuccinos are french roasts; Id rather taste the bean than the roast. Literally poured it out of my window on RR12 while heading home. Tasted like ash...awful. There are nothing but good people with good intentions here, but Ive now stopped here four times over the years, tried their coffees, lattes and just cannot warm up to their products. Here are my top 5 suggestions in the greater Austin area: Stouthouse in southwest Austin (Sunset Valley) area; Mazama of Dripping Springs; Houndstooth of north-central Austin; Bee Cave Coffee of Bee Cave; Cafe Medici of the Clarksville Austin neighborhood.

If youre thinking about going to starbucks, than stop what youre doing! Sip is my favorite place in Wimberley by far. The ambiance is very comforting, the people there are nice and welcoming, and the COFFEE (and most everything else) Is AMAZING!!! I think Ive had all the coffee on the menu, and so far, I have not been disappointed. So next time youre looking for a place to work, or just to unwind and relax, look no further than Sip! on the Square.

Really good espresso! These guys know what theyre doing. Latte was delicious & properly crafted. Went back the next day & the staff remembered my order from my first ever visit the day before. Only complaint is that they dont have raw sugar (only white granulated) or heavy whipping cream (only half & half). 8 times better than Maui Wowi.

Super cute coffee shop in the Wimberley square. I always make sure to stop here when I am in town and get their cold brew coffee. It is so flavorful and delicious. Parking can be a pain in the butt, but it is worth the hassle. The staff is always friendly too!

Best coffee in town. Baristas are solid and the new renovation adds an upbeat feel. Inside and outside seating. Great place to meet with friends or casual business contacts. Local troubador plays Saturday mornings in fair weather.

Love this place. Went the other day w/ my puppy dog and sat outside. They brought my Pooch water and ice bones (ice cubes :) and we loved it. Wonderful assortment of coffee from all over including organic. Yuummy treats as well.

This is a great coffee shop with employees that are knowledgeable and personable! I am a die hard coffee drinker and I love espresso. The white chocolate mocha at Sip! is hands down the best I have ever had!!!

Amazing establishment! Best coffee Ive had in all of Texas! Dont bother asking if the sugar free coffee is actually sugar free. It is, I ask every time based on the fact that it is just too delicious.

Cheaper and WAY BETTER than starbucks. Awesome baristas that actually know coffee on a competition level will lead you to something new and spectacular. Super frequent visitor never disappointed.

The organic Columbian coffee was awesome. Im a straight and plain coffee guy, and it was delicious. My wife had the tuxedo latte and we are going back tomorrow morning to get more of it.

I really enjoyed this shop. The staff was fun and helpful. The vibe was funky and hip. They even had natural sweeteners so I could skip the sugar! And the cold brew was awesome.

Great place to grab a coffee while visiting Wimberley. The staff is always friendly and the wifi is fast. My favorite drinks are the Mexican mocha and green tea frappé.

Huge disappointment. Nothing special and the Wheat grass shot I bought was flash frozen and horrible. Customer service was great.
