We have been getting good food from The Wok here on Louetta for years. We have always gotten great food, excellent service and they serve huge portions for great price. Some of the things we order are: General Taos Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Sweet n Sour Pork or Chicken... There are times that the Sweet n Sours arent cooked as well as other times or have more breading or the meats dry - but most times its cooked right. Their egg rolls are great! The Crab Puffs are usually very good. The meals have lots of fred rice and then a huge portion of the desired order. An order of shrimp fried rice is way more than one person can eat! The family who own and run the place are very nice and committed to their restaurant. They work long hours! Cleanliness? If you eat inside- the sitting area is somewhat basic and outdated but clean. The kitchen itself appears messy. Chaotic messy. It is clean however. Overall, weve found The Wok to be a great place when we want Chinese. Close by, quick, reasonable and inexpensive.

I always like to give my business to small, independent places, so I stopped by here on Monday evening. I ordered broccoli chicken for myself, sweet and sour chicken for my husband, and my friend ordered vegetarian fried rice. We werent impressed with the fried rice - the vegetarian fried rice was just simple rice with shredded salad on top - lettuce, mainly. The food was mediocre at best, but as the previous poster said in 2002, its cheap. After Monday night, I feel that this Chinese Wok needs an updated review. We must have eaten around 6:30 or 7, and I started feeling unwell at 8:00 pm. By 9:00 pm, I was in the bathroom. I didnt leave the bathroom until 6:00 pm the next day. My husband got sick a little later than me - he started feeling unwell around 9ish, and got sick at 11:00. I have missed two days of work because of this. Today is the first time in the past 24 hours that I have been able to sit upright. Even if I hadnt gotten sick, I still would not be returning.

This place is AWFUL! The service was fine as its basically just fast food Chinese. The food is YUCK! I would rather go to Panda and I dont even really like Panda. I had to General Tsos chicken - there was no chicken in it just huge pieces of rock hard batter soaked in a syrupy sauce. The beef from the beef and broccoli was almost the color of pork/chicken. The food had no flavor. I had high hopes being new to the area, reading some other reviews and it being right outside of our neighborhood, but I know this...I will NEVER go eat there again. It was just straight up gross.

I usually stick with the same choices, beef and broccoli. I have been here about 4 time a year from 1996 - 2012. I have never have had an issue. It is fast. It is reasonably priced. The servers are pleasant and cordial. Pleasantly modified the combo and eliminated rice upon request and compensated with two other dishes. We have never gotten ill from the food from this establishment (have from two others in the vicinity.) I will return and I would recommend this place.

Lets be honest when you go here you arent expecting too much. Their soups are all delicious as for their food its cheap, yummy, and you get large quantities. I recommend theor house fried rice and their wonton is definitely worth it for the price. If you want cheap fast good tasting chinese this is the place in the spring area.

My grandpaw has been going here since it opened and he has always had great and friendly service. He always tells them a certain way for his food to be prepared and theu never have a problem doing this for him. I went one day a couple of weeks ago with him, and I was impressed with the service and food.

Made the mistake of ordering here before I read the reviews. It was horrible. Got General Chicken, and it was nothing but big wads of mushy breading with little to no chicken inside. The rice was also very bad, old, mushy. The kitchen was very dirty looking with stuff piled up everywhere. YUCK!

I went in to eat in the middle of the day and about halfway though my meal, an employee told me he needed to mop, I had to leave. I asked if I could finish my meal first and he said no, leave. So I got up to talk to the manager and was handed a to go box to put my food in.

Just ordered the combination rice from here. It was disgusting. Rice was bland and the meat was off. I ate a bit and just had to throw it away. Not worth the money at all. Youre better off with mcdonalds or something else. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!

Ive only gone through the drive through but we pick up food for supper from here a lot. We love it. Crab puffs are great! Gen Tsaos is also very good. And best prices anywhere.
