This was my first time back at Panera Bread in a few years and I remember why I avoided this place. First off, their menu is not an accurate reflection of the food they put out. The menu was fantastic and went into detail about the high standards they abide to and how they support local, seasonal produce. However, the quality received did not compare. I ordered two dishes: a full serving of the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad and a Chicken Tortellini Alfredo pasta dish. When the food came out, I was stunned. There was nothing but chicken and wontons on a bed of wilted romaine lettuce. They forgot the toasted almonds, sesame seeds, and cilantro. When I brought it back and requested the items be added, the worker showed obvious annoyance and didnt even apologise. Upon getting my food back, the three items were very sparingly sprinkled on. The pasta came with bland shredded chicken and came in a bowl that looked like a kids serving. Im not sure how this franchise is still in business, especially since its not inexpensive. One can buy excellent salads and sandwiches ready made from grocery stores now for half the price but this place cant get it right. They have a good beverage selection. Otherwise, take your money elsewhere.

Panera Bread is good food. But the service at this location is bad. This is the second time we go and theyre just awful at this place. We live on other side of Bandera Road and we looked it up to see which Panera is closest and what time they close it was about 9 and it said that this Panera is open till 10 we get to the store. theres signs outside that says now extended hours open till 10 we go in and were going to order from the kiosk and I can hear the associates behind us talking to each other about how they didnt lock the door and asking each other if theyre open till 10? They definitely didnt want us to eat there they just wanted to go home. Im hearing them talking behind our backs cleaning, everything was put up and no one greeted, they just wanted us to leave. so I just tell my boyfriend lets just go somewhere else where our business is appreciated and as soon as we walk out they lock the door behind us and its only 919 p.m. the end up closing early because apparently nobody knew they were supposed to be open. Not going to this Panera ever again every time theyre just so rude to us.

Ive gone to this Panera twice. Both experiences were subpar. On Friday, I completed a rapid order online at 7:30 am scheduling to pick up at 8:30. When I arrived at 8:40, my order was not complete or ready to pick up. I had to wait in line for ten minutes, and when I asked if my order was ready, the staff said, "Oh yes! We didnt have some of the bagels you ordered. What would you like instead?" I was very frustrated because no one had contacted me about the missing bagels even though they had an hour to prepare it. My phone number is on my Panera profile and asked why cant you call me if you dont have all the bagels, then I wouldnt have had to wait to pick up a "Rapid Order". In response they said that I can call ahead to see if all the bagels are available. If I can order online then why should I have to call?! When I brought the bagel pack into work for my team, some of the other bagels I ordered where not there and they gave me (not one but) two wrong types of cream cheese than what I ordered. Not going to be going to this Panera again. Extremely disappointed

Who knew cutting bagels and toasting them could be so difficult? But maybe I am asking too much.... The order was simple: two toasted bagels with cream cheese and an oatmeal to go. First they just gave me the oatmeal and told me my order was done. "Umm maam, I think youre missing the bulk of my order." An eye roll let me know that that was somehow my fault. Finally, the second bag was ready to go with my remaining order in tow. I get home to give my family their well deserved breakfast. Well, it turns out the bagels werent toasted. But at least they were sliced. So 1 for 2 isnt too bad. But then I reach in for my oatmeal, but wait, no spoon? Instead I got a knife to eat my oatmeal! I guess I can look like Batmans Joker by the end of my meal. Ask me how I got these scars. But why so serious. I have spoons at home, crisis averted. I scoop in, ice cold. Goldie Locks would have moved on to find a oatmeal that was just right. But then again, she didnt have Google reviews to rate the bears accommodations. I do. Two stars because at least the bagels were sliced.

This place is overly crowded during lunch and Panera bread has made zero effort to relieve this for the staff here. A restaurant opened up next door and its no wonder as today I once again made the mistake of paying a visit during lunch time. It was overly crowded, a long wait time to order, a long time for food and no where to sit but outside at noon. Wouldnt be an issue if I hadnt recently done radiation therapy. Will the parent company please make an effort to relieve this type of issue?!

Horrible horrible horrible. I ordered the holiday sandwich which was by far, the worst, cheapest, sandwich and it seems was made with minimal effort. It had one thin leaf of lettuce covering a few sprinkles of turkey, and what seemed to be a tea spoon of cranberry sauce. I was very annoyed with the amount of ingredients in the sandwich for the price I payed. I will never eat at ANY Panera Bread ever again.

When I tried to place an order, a message appeared stating that the bagel flat Multigrain was unavailable. The pastry shelves were bare, and you soon realize whats a priority to Panera and that is catering. Boxes, bags, cups, etc...were placed on seveal tables in the main dining room looking very cluttered. Not very accommodating for those who like to sit in a specific area.

Cute girl gave me free coffee. Five stars. In all seriousness, I visit this Panera at least once or twice a week to study, write, read, get work done, chat with friends and enjoy well crafted and delicious food. Ive had nothing but stellar experiences at this location! Plus, cute girl is cute. Like, ridiculously cute.

I was really excited to get some panera tonight after a long stressful day, only to have them be out of more than half the menu and then watch the staff break health code by touching his greasy, sweaty hair before delivering food, thencompletely ignore us waiting at the cash register.

This used to be my favorite spot until they removed the French Onion soup from the menu. The service is always decent so I cant complain about that. I am just so disappointed about the soup. Bring back French Onion soup! The passion fruit tea is always amazing.

If you know what you want, and arent afraid to try it, the self-order lane is your best bet. Orders come out quick no matter how you order and everything is always fresh tasting and great. No problem with bringing in your own Yeti type cup for your beverage.
