Visited there today and ordered the Cajun Fettuccine with grilled shrimp and my wife ordered Melvins Blackened Chicken. Never in my life have I ever complained to staff about the quality of my food, but I did this time. My shrimp werent grilled, they were boiled. My wifes chicken wasnt blackened either. Complained to staff and the explanation from management on duty was that they grill their shrimp by sautéing them in a pan. Huh? She also apologized that my wifes chicken wasnt blackened to her liking as it was on our previous visit. Will never go back!

We dined with them this past week... I always order the same...catfish and shrimp with okra...okra is never cooked but never complain. I had two drinks.... I was finishing my last when I felt something hit my lips... took it out, my girlfriend thought it was a chunk of ice... no, it was a huge piece of glass... didnt want to make a big deal but did tell server....after a $60 visit all we got was an apology... been in this business for over 20 years...poor management... wont be back

Do not eat here. The service sucked, the food was nasty or over seasoned. I literally scraped seasoning off with a spoon that could of seasoned the whole animal! My Cole slaw was rotten and almost made me throw up. Prices were way to high for the amount of food, plus the taste or quality was not worth the price they wanted. Well be going to Red Lobster next time we want seafood.

Service was good but food not exactly NOLA reciepes! Please refer to River Road Recipe Book!!!! Major problem we had was a family that made the experience intollerable because they insisted on yelling at their children. Wont be back for while! The children were not the problem the parents were!

I went here to get steamed seafood..."Cajun Steamer", that is the name of the place, right. As I ordered the waiter said "the steamer is broken" with a rather unpleasant and indignant attitude. This was after we ordered drinks. That was my first and visit.

They do the basics right. Red beans and sausage, dirty rice, and gumbo were all done well. The Cajun mashed potatoes were amazing. Our waitress Randy was wonderful and the service was quick. Im not eating a five because my blackened chicken was on the dry side.

Fish for both myself and my boyfriend was way overcooked on the first try. I had Mahi mahi, he had red snapper. The bottom of his grilled snapper was shoe leather. Mine had no blackening and was smothered in sauce. Meals where much better when they were redone.

The first time I ate here I swore Id never come back. Thankfully I have it a second chance and quickly learned the first time was a bad experience. The crawfish enchiladas are delicious, and the deep fried cheesecake is a little taste of heaven on a plate.

Spent 40 dollars on two people just to go and throw the food up later, they gave me food poisoning and I will never go back the service is horrible, the waitress was rude and got mad because of her tip, if you actually did your job youd get a good tip

Went in at 3pm on a Friday. Nice and attentive waitstaff, Whitney. There was one other table with patrons. Heard cook just talking and talking. Finally after 25 minutes, I heard my crawfish being dropped in the fryer. Walked out, very disappointed.

Every time we visit Trussville AL we eat here. Love the tuna spread appetizer. Love the shrimp n grits so much I considered driving to Longview. Want this restaurant closer to Austin.

Quick seating, and courteous service. My wife and I shared an authentic and delicious seafood boil. The corn and crab bisque is also excellent, along with the alligator bites.
