Nice little place with fast "to go" ordering. The only complaint that I have after having eaten almost everything on the menu is that the shrimp toast was not what it could have been, it was greasy and not cooked well. I dont know if this was a once off thing or the regular (I dont want a repeat if it is the regular) so I never ordered the shrimp toast again. Without that one bad experience I would have given this restaurant 5 stars.

So I moved to La Vernia with my husband, he is from here and has lived here his whole life and I come from the city, so Im used to great food. Honestly, this is great for is you are craving Chinese food but dont want the drive! I go here when Im having a lazy day or had a hard day at work and dont want to drive 20 miles. So its not amazing but pretty good and mostly convenient.

I was very skeptical about this place. Chinese food? Way out here? But I was definitely wrong. I had the Broccoli Beef, and the quality of the beef was top notch, and the broccoli wasnt overcooked. Everything was good, even to the egg roll. I wasnt even in the mood for Chinese, but I was thoroughly imposed.
