Was looking for something local and stumbled upon this place. Building was very clean and neat, and decorated well. The outdoor grounds were very nice as well. The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive. There are a ton of options on both the drink and food menu, so theres something for everyone here. The majority of parking is behind the building. There are copious TVs everywhere inside so sit wherever you want. Youll be sure to have a good view of whatever sports are in at the time. I came on a Sunday mid afternoon, so it wasnt busy at all. I sampled two beers before deciding on a Firemans Ale. They have over 100 beers on tap, and more in bottles, so theres basically something for everyone here. A nice cocktail menu as well with some great options. For an appetizer, I ordered their Bacon Thingies. They were brought out in a reasonable amount of time, and were warm, but not hot. However they were extremely delicious. Had I not ordered a large burger, I would have ordered more. After appetizers, I ordered the (512) Short Rib Bacon Burger with sweet potatoes fries. This monstrosity of a meal came out shortly after my appetizer. The burger was piping hot and extremely juicy and flavorful. But it wasnt sloppy, and it held together well, which was nice. The sweet potatoe fries were barely warm and seemed to be undercooked. Had the burger not filled me up, I would have been disappointed to have a plate of fries and sweet marshmallow dipping sauce that was undesirable. Overall, the service and atmosphere was excellent. The sweet potatoe fries were disappointing, but the rest of the experience made up for it. I will definitely be returning soon!

Its our first visit to try the food. Neither the waiter (nor the staff up front) know what the Mothers Day special meant, even when they looked at the board that said "Mothers eat free on Mothers Day". It was obvious they have poor management and their wait staff untrained. When I pointed to the menu and for asked for clarification, the manager insisted (twice) that the "GRILLED quail" on the menu was pan fried. On both sides. We ordered 15 naked wings and got 13. When we told them we were short, the other female manager eventually brought the last 2 and said, "you had 2 missing wings, right?" Dropped them off and left. No apologies, nothing. My Mahi Mahi was bone dry, cracked in the middle, and flavorless, some of the green beans were almost burnt and some almost raw, the mashed potatoes were so dry, even with the gravy smothered on top. The Spirit of the Hero burger was a bit heavy, but the sourdough brioche bun somewhat made up for it. Definitely wont be back. Expensive poor quality food, slow kitchen service. Poor overall. Definitely NOT worth the money. Eat at Fridays or Chillis instead.

Ive been to this place about 3 times trying to give it a chance.. So far, Ive decided that the food is good. The wait staff is friendly ah HD the service is ok. But.... this is a bar... When I go to a bar I want a happy and jovial bartender. A cute bartender is a bonus, but not a prerequisite. The bartenders here forget that theyre here for you and not the other way around. Ive seen multiple crews in here tending bar and none of them seem happy to be here. Quite frankly they act like they dont care if your there or not. No smiles, no small talk, no compassion toward the guest whatsoever. For a new establishment trying to make a name for itself in this competitive market, I would put more money into either hiring a happier staff or getting them to care about their patrons more. Especially when your spending $8. Per beer with tip.. Not a place I would go out of my way to frequent for sure. Hope it gets better because it seems like a great concept.. The bartenders just need to remember they work for tips and theyre there for patrons. If they dont like their jobs they should move onto something else.

This place is meh. My husband and I sat outside on the patio, which was cool, and they had several games for people to play like a giant connect four game and that game where you swing a ring from a string and try to get it to land on a hook nailed to a wall. The service was slow and our sever kept making excuses that he was so slammed or that other employees were being slow, but we saw him sitting and chatting with customers several times, so I think he just doesnt really get the whole job duties and customers come before personal conversations bit. We were there for 2 hours, not because we were drinking or hanging out, but because that was how long it took to get food ordered and received and get our check. Also, the "freedom fries" sucked and overall, the place was just kind of expensive for crummy service and mediocre food. I probably wont be going back unless I just want to get hammered on a Sunday since on Sundays they honor ALL their daily drink specials. There crab cake balls were delicious, but $9 was still kind of expensive.

Ive been twice and will not be going back. The first time the service was lousy, and everything is overpriced for what it is. I ordered the beer flight, and was surprised to find out that each 5oz. pour is priced separately, and some of them even more than the regular sized beer! I brought it to the servers attention, and the manager said he would fix it, but it was still $20 for four 5oz. beers. Also, our jalapeño bottle caps did not come with any dipping sauce, and when we asked for ranch, we got charged 50¢. The second visit was at happy hour, but neither of the beers we ordered were on happy hour apparently... not sure what else would be on HH there, if it is a beer place. Also, another 50¢ charge for ranch, and $2.75 for kids sodas! Wht?! Most places include a soda in kids meals, or at least tell you its not included. Soda cost for restaurants is a few cents. Additionally, our food did not taste "scratch" -- I got a burger and hubby got a chicken pasta salad, neither were very impressive.

02/15/2016 - Thursday evening This was our first and last visit. Food and drinks were good. Service was horrible! Myself, my boyfriend and a friend sat at the bar. Our bartender basically ignored us most of the evening while giving full attention to the male customers seated right next to us! We had 2 separate checks and she even mixed those up and my friend ended up paying our tab (which was more). I was going to bring it to the shoddy bartenders attention, but my friend wanted to just pay and get the heck outta there. It was that bad! The tip we left reflected her poor service. The good food and drinks are not enough to get us to return when service is severely lacking in common courtesy. I will be contacting a manager about this experience and I hope he or she educates the staff on how to be competent servers.

Second time to a DD, first for this location. The wait was absolutely terrible. Cold front came in today so no one wanted patio which meant everyone was inside. Ordered an appetizer (Donkey Balls) and it came at the end of the meal. Why 4 stars? Cause the entire time the staff (from hostess to bus boys to the mgr) were great, respectful and sometimes apologetic. The food was good. I had the chicken fried chicken and it was nice. I like the mashed potatoes and gravy with it, and the toast was just right. Wife got the salmon which was standard for any decent restaurant. Green beans were a little over seasoned. Two small kids shared Mac and cheese with fries. Beer selection is great. At the end of all of this, we still left there saying wed like to go back, just when its warmer :)
