Great sandwiches--always friendly staff, Ive never had any issues here. The hot pepper relish is a must for any solid sandwich, though I dont find it terribly spicy. Im a NY Italian type of guy on wheat--so thats what I usually get. The only downside to this location is the parking, especially during the lunch rush hour. The parking lot (which is shared across the shopping center) pretty much has the smallest spaces in Austin and is always constantly full. Because of that, I try to go after 130ish, and Im usually good on parking.

Ive seen this almost every time I go in there- food service gloves are meant to protect my food from nasty germs. The workers are grabbing trash cans, operating the cash registers, and doing way too many other things with the SAME gloves on that theyre using to make my sandwich. Gross. Food is always good but its ridiculous how they charge for every little thing. Peppers, relish... Really? And the special of the week is less than a dollar discount on a salad? Boo.

Thundercloud sub gets by mainly on the propensity of Hipsters to eat there because it is trendy. The staff is rude, the tea tastes like toilet water, and the prices are too high for the quality and size of their offerings. All of the employees seem to be hippies or angst-filled millennial miscreants that are there to collect a paycheck and nothing else . Bottom line: eat at Jimmy Johns or Firemans Sub.

I like ThunderCloud. I want to like them so much. The food is good and the quality is great. I just cant get passed the fact that they dont wear gloves when they make your food. I kind of dont care how many times you wash your hands. Hairnets or hair ties and gloves should be mandatory when youre prepping food. I dont want to watch you touch my meat with your fingers.

I visit this location for lunch every once in a while. The parking lot is pretty tight, but oh well. This Thundercloud has plenty of seating. Mainly booths. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Never afraid to strike up a conversation with them. Love it all. The food, the service, the sweet tea! Check it out!

My wife loves this place so naturally i wanted to love it also. But they NEVER wash their hands in between subs and they seem to think that they are doing you a favor when you order something and then they expect a tip after come on man not this guy

Great local chain offering subs. Great options compared other sub chains. They offer a variety of options to choose from. I love their hummus and avocado bases and also sprouts on the subs.

The best chain sandwich place in town. Everything on their menu is tasty and fresh. Try the Texas Tuna - Tuna salad with jalapeños and cheese!
