Great subs, especially the cheesesteak, however over the years it has slowly turned into a small cheesesteak worth of meat and cheese into a large bun. I typically go once or twice a month and each time I do regardless of location theres a sprinkle of meat (the primary component of the sandwich) for the middle 1/2 of the roll, and the 2 inches on either end completely empty. This is at each location and consistent, it seems to just be a skimpy business decision. I also had a bad experience recently at one location with the sandwich being made incorrectly and the kid picking stuff off instead of remaking it, they were out of nearly everything, and I left feedback on their site. The owner called me two days later very apologetic, but complained to me for 10 minutes about how kids these days dont care and telling me hes going to fire the kid who made the sandwich, bragging he fires them all the time, despite my repeated assurances that it was a simple and common mistake and shouldnt result in him losing his job. On top of skimping on customers they seem to be a terrible company to work for as well. I was intent on giving them another try after the messed up order, but after talking to the owner and hearing the iron fisted way he runs the business from him himself, I wouldnt dare step foot in another Delaware, even to redeem the free sub coupon he gave me.

Their cheese steaks are some of the best in town even though the large is north of ten bucks and not so large. I typically go at least once a month. Every time I go they are out of several things. Today mushrooms and provolone last time strays and lids always something. It seems the owner or manager skimps on the essential items to make extra profits. Ive been there way too often for it just to be bad luck its a calculated business decision. Think about it you go to order your sub after driving 10 minutes and you are hungry and low and behold they dont have have the condiments you want. People typically still order the sandwich yet no discount to the customer just extra profits for the owner. For $10 sandwiches the establishment should be able to afford napkins. Great food bad strategic business decisions.

The sandwiches are great at Delaware, but the guys who work weekends at this location are complete morons. Over a period of six weeks they have managed to screw up my order every time. This is because they are lazy and careless and really just too young. There isnt any managerial supervision and these guys just dont care about doing anything right. This location also has a constant bad smell. Other locations are better. I will not return as they are incapable of getting an order correct. Youve been warned.

I really wish I could give 5 stars. At times this has had some of the best subs in town. I feel like over the last 10 years though that it is really hit and miss. Every couple of times our order will be slightly wrong, or some item will be really skimpy, or the prices will be wrong by 50 cents from the posting and the register. I still go back though, its much better than Subway, although also more expensive.

Great place to grab a sub. I have only eaten their Philly cheese steak which was good in my opinion. FYI, they put ketchup on it so you may want to take that off if you want more of a traditional Philly cheese steak. Buuuutttttttt, they have a BOGO (buy one get one) on Sundays for the Philly cheese steak. The only catch is you have to buy chips and a drink to get the BOGO on Sunday.

Greatsub place. Probably one of the hidden gems in Austin. I found this place when my friends from Boston were craving some East Coast Subs. I got the Philly which was half off that day (they do daily deals) and it was really filling for under $10. Definitely recommend this place for anyone whos looking for an authentic sub off the beaten path.

Indeed Delaware is the tastiest Philly in Austin. This unfortunately does not make up for never having a working soda fountain or the inability to keep chips in stock. Recently my order was messed up and the person who answered the phone said it was not wrong. I plan to continue seeking compensation.

Great subs and good service. A large sub will feed two or three people depending on how hungry you are but they are kinda pricey. Luckily they are really good so it is totally worth it. Check their daily specials to see if you can get a better deal.

Had a Philly cheesesteak sub for lunch today. It was a pretty decent sandwich. I was wanting for a bit more flavor and filling...didnt have much of the cheese component going on. However, good sub close to home so Ill probably be by again.

Subs are fantastic. Nothing beats the philly cheese steak and the italian sausage sub specials on Thursday and Friday. Be sure to get there early on Fridays, they run out of sausage pretty quick.
