Wonderful place run by a wonderful family. Reading these reviews appalls me, and I cannot believe them. My family and I LOVE this restaurant. We have been going there for years, and have never had a bad experience. Food: My parents are from Mexico, and this is the best most authentic food in the area. They often have dishes and salsas available that are not on the menu, all you have to do is ask. Also, they make their foods from scratch, not using "instant" packs. For example: flan ordered at any other Mexican restaurant in the area will come to you bland and boring because it came from a jello packet, but here...they prepare them from scratch. The downside to that is that they can run out, because it takes a long time to bake, but thats worth it. Real flan is much more delicious. Accommodating: My sister had stomach surgery and could not eat solid foods. They made consomme (again not on the menu) just for her, so that she could "eat out with the family" while sticking to her prescribed diet. Also, my family wanted to have a dinner out with all 11 of us. We asked (in advance of course) if they could open the upstairs dining area for us and they were extremely generous. Not only did they open it for us, but they also (as a surprise for us) put out a special plate set that wed never seen them use before. And for desert, they brought out a very nice platter with an assortment of cookies for us. Really, VERY nice people there.

The most rude staff ever!!! NEVER WILL GO BACK! I had my nephew come into town from another state and we went to this place for lunch. I requested iced tea with extra lemon. When the "mother" came to the table and brought the tea, the lemons were missing. I thought maybe she had forgotten, so I asked her for lemons. She, frustrated reached across me and over the table and grabbed little pouches out of a little bowl and threw them down in from of me and said, "Here are your lemons!" and then she left. Both my nephew and I were shocked at this behavior. I told him, "humph, and we are going to eat and spend money here? Fat chance!" And with that we both got up and left. I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVER! RUDE AND UNACOMMODATING. Another incident that my husband experienced at this same place: He and his friends went there for lunch (as they have gone before) and the television was blaring above their heads. They could not communicate with one another over the loud TV; so they asked the waiter politely to please could he turn the volume down a bit. To there request, the waiter said,"If you dont like it you can leave." WOW... they had their lunches delivered at that time. Guess what all 4 men did.... they got up and left leaving all the food on the table. It only goes to prove that if you are mean and nasty and not grateful for customers supporting your busines, YOU LOOSE!!!! We can always go somewhere else!

Food wise it was as expected but service is what brought it down. They came up and told us that we could not sit at bigger table usually because they are busy for lunch and the only reason we went to bigger tables was to accommodate my business partner who is a slightly larger gentleman. It made me feel like a fool after talking this place up only to be embarrassed by those remarks. Further more that action has cost me a potential client as now my sense in what is good is shamed and has tarnished my reputation.

Family dine in meal included four separate menu items. Could not eat shrimp due to horrible taste. Ordered carnitas tacos, and asked if I would like cheese and rice. Requested pico, & advised it was not available. Pico came out with another dish. Carnitas meat had a bad taste. Convenient location, average service, clean restaurant, food was not fresh. Language barrier prevented clear communications.

This is not a good Mexican restaurant!!! I gave them another try and they are not worth my $. After going back in to tell them they messed my to-go order up the young boy manager gave me attitude and acted like it was my fault and wanted me to pay more money for their mess up... Many other reasons not just this one.

Only Mexican near by. Terrible service, terrible attitudes. Never ordered one thing that they got right. Not that it was complicated (leave out peppers) and the salsa is AWFUL. And salsa pretty much makes or breaks a Mexican restaurant. Somehow this one is still going. Food isnt "bad" but service is.

This restaurant seriously refused to take my order because they had 25 orders in line--they did not even give me the option of waiting. Just flat out refused--worst customer service ever! I had to give them at least one star but they dont deserve that.

Order the "Isidro special" if you like steak/ chicken/ shrimp with veggies on a bed of rice. Yum! Also, fish tacos and quesadillas de fajitas are delicious. Many choices if you like Mexican food and friendly service.

We used to come here often, and the food and service were good. Not sure what has happened but it was awful tonight, 11/18/2016. Our food was cold, did not taste authentic...more so like straight out of a can.

The food was good and would give 5 for that.. but we saw the server take a drink from a customers mixed drink before taking it out to the table! Right from the glass! For that reason I will not go back again.
