Id like to go 3 and a half stars... but thats not available. They have some fresh dishes/combinations/items that are really nice and flavorful and different.. oh yah they also have what i call traditional amerimex fare of shredded iceburg lettuce.. canned brown refried beans with nothing added and taco bell taco sauce in a bottle... but they also have a great selection of tequila top to bottom shelf and always provide limes.... they even grilled fresh jalapeños for us! Something for everyone ... basic to festive.... add wifi and homemade salsas or sauces then wed be in the 4 star range! There is absolutely no cell service in Gainsboro unless you are with safelink or verizon.

It’s a wonderful place. The staff is friendly, and it has a great atmosphere. It also hits what I call that holy trifecta of restaurants; the food was good, the prices were great, and they gave me enough to fill me up. One thing I like to do at any restaurant is ask the manager about how they prep the food and the kind of ingredients they use. How they answer says a lot. The manager here has a passion about what he does, and the quality of the food he uses. It’s not just a job to him. Highly recommended.

We eat here often for a couple of reasons: 1)Its close to us since we live pretty far from a town. 2)The other Mexican restaurant near us is ina dry county. My husband can get a beer with his nachos here.
