BIG MISTAKE! Ricks BBQ was hired for catering my daughter & son-in-laws wedding. BIG MISTAKE! I would NOT recommend Ricks BBQ Catering for any event. I will admit that the food tasted good, but the level of service and follow through was absolutely terrible at my daughters wedding. Ricks BBQ should be embarrassed with their performance at this event. With this being a wedding and knowing how stressful a wedding is, help the happy couple out and just do your job.......do what you say youre going to do. I had attended the tasting appointment and the décor/serving selection appointment with my daughter & son-in-law. So, I know exactly what was agreed upon and promised to them when they chose Ricks BBQ for the catering at their wedding. I know for a fact that my son-in-law followed up with them multiple times, even days before the wedding/ and all of the following issues happened to them. 1. The employees that showed up on the day of the wedding intended only on dropping off the food and leaving. My husband had to stop them and tell them they were supposed to serve. The employees were clueless as to what they were supposed to do. Serving was part of the catering service agreement. Fail! 2. We were told Ricks would bring their own tables to set up on, they did NOT. The wedding venue owner had to scrounge up some tables for them. This was a "big deal" because there were no tables left and it took some of the bridal party away from what they needed to be doing to get the tables. Not to mention, it wasnt the wedding venues owners responsibility. It was Ricks BBQs responsibility. Fail! 3. They didnt bring ICE! Again, another "big deal" since the beverages that were being served were out of dispenser to go over ice. How does this even happen? Youre catering a wedding and you bring no ice? Well, again the wedding venue owner was lovely enough to go get the ice that Ricks did not bring. Fail! 4. At least a month before the wedding my daughter, son-in-law and I went to Ricks Headquarters in Leoma, TN to pick out the serving equipment and décor that they wanted to be used at the wedding. Only about half of what they selected showed up on their wedding day. We would have decorated the dining area more if we would have known they werent going to bring what they promised. Fail! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RICKS BBQ FOR CATERING FOR ANY EVENT, EVER!

I would not recommend coming to the ethridge location. The store is poorly ran. We stood waiting along with others while workers were just walking by. We ordered a family pack and did not receive the full meal. The slaw had less than one serving on it and no chips. Every visit, something is wrong. After this visit, there will be no more business from my family or I :)

Im giving up. Every time we have been we have gotten bad service. No "how are you" or anything of the sort. Just order your food and leave us alone, is how it seems. The last 3 times I have gotten the loaded potatoe it has been uncooked. Not sure, but seems like its ran by teenagers..no offense.

Ricks BBQ is not only a convenience store, but a restuaraunt also. They serve a variety of meats (pork, ham, chicken) and sides. They also have massive, delicious loaded baked potatoes. If you are looking for good food and Southern charm give Ricks a try.

They have horrible customer service and their good is even worse. I wouldnt waste my $ or my time. I wouldnt even give them a star if I didnt have too to be able to post this. Also their positive reviews are written by employees and their family.members.

We used to love Ricks Bbq but today will be our LAST time eating there! ! The employees attitudes are HORRIBLE, the food is good but there is never consistency on the orders, and our order is NEVER correct! !
