I simply called and asked if they carried any of the ingredients I needed and was informed that an Asian market in Hagerstown would. So I asked the lady on the phone if they made pad see ew and her reply was, "I do not have time to answer your questions, go to the website". I told her all I needed to know is if they made it and her response was the same. A yes or no was what I was looking for. They may have great food but I will never know because I do not support rude people and will never be a customer.

Jade Cottage Cafe is a great place to check out if you are looking for relatively affordable, tasty food. The owner is quite pleasant and she will gladly answer any questions that you may have. The menu contains varied options. She also has various grocery items available for purchase within the restaurant for a price that is reasonable given the lack of Asian grocery stores in the area. The food isnt terribly authentic but it is tasty.

I had very good, spring rolls and the meat dumplings were fairly good. The Pad Thai that I bought was made at least a week before. When I called her she said if I had called her instantly she may have done something, she was a christian afterall. I payed 12 dollars for Pad Thai that was so wrinkled and stale you couldnt revive it, yet she said she might have done something if she knew earlier?

My son, the food snob, loves the curry dishes. We went there for dinner the first time without knowing anything about the restaurant, and were so happy with our meals; we went the next day for lunch. The owner, Jade, is very friendly and does it all (chief cook, waitress, and bottle washer). I would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic asian cooking.

went there twice, probably about the nastiest food weve ever had...paid premium NYC prices for food fluffed with rice below to give the impression that you were getting alot for food drenched in soy sauce. 1 lady does the cooking, and runs the place. Sorry place for us country folk who dont know any better.

I have only eaten here once so I cant judge accurately, but it was good. I had the drunken noodles. The noodles themselves were fab (the texture was on point), but I felt that the sauce needed more flavor and spices. I will be coming back to try more!
