the coffee and pastries are good - if you can get what you ordered. I have been there five times, four times they have mesed up my very simple orders. they have neglected to put flavoring in my coffee when i specifically asked for it and also forgotten to give me my pastry. The one time I had good service was when the first thing I said was "the service here yesterday was terrible" the staff seems to have a very short attention span and if your order is more than six words long they will forget the rest. But, if you can get what you ask for, the pastries and coffee are great. I havent been brave enough to try to order anything else. The prices are standard for what they offer. It is a quiet, relaxed place, unlike the Dunkin Donuts across the street.

Definitely a nice little find in Swarthmore. This place is absolutely incredible if youre in the mood for something down-to-earth and straight-forward. The space was intimate, with dim lighting. The atmosphere was pleasant and lovely on a cold winter day. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Loved my visit here. Whenever Im in the area again, Ill be sure to stop by again! Great sandwiches and baked goods too. As for the coffee? It was the best damn Americano I’ve ever had. The end.

Delicious breakfasts. Accommodates food allergies easily. Nice atmosphere. Bad thing is that even when at their busiest times they dont limit the time people can take for using their laptop/doing schoolwork while not eating. There are always at least one person +laptop taking a table meant for 4 and its annoying that weve had to go elsewhere when there have been table hogs.

A town treasure. Founded and run by the best kind of young hipster foodies, and a popular venue for town events. They do a fancy dinner event every first Friday, sometimes with live music performed by the Mayor. Weekend brunch menu is great, but runs low on some of the best items faster than youd think. Check it out!

The owner, Bill is extremely kind and a pleasure to talk to. On top of that you will be hard pressed to find better food in downtown Swarthmore (excluding the COOP). They care about local artists and foods! If keeping it local is something youre interested in, this is a good place to spend your money.

A couple years ago this coffee shop was generally a mess but theyve gotten it together. Tip...walk past the people waiting for their drinks to the register to order. A couple times in my pre caffeine haze Ive waited inn the wrong line. Ive never had the food but it looks good.

Bill comes up with interesting, cutting edge recipes and flavors at very reasonable prices. A great place for coffee and food, The outdoor grilling is very fun, but like most of the custom offerings, quantities are limited so get there early enough before they sell out.

Love the coffee here. The place is usually packed during the school year, but is still fine otherwise. Great breakfast sandwiches. If youre driving to Swarthmore, youll need to park on the street - I *dont think* they charge for parking on the weekends.

This is a nice neighborhood coffee shop where the staff knows your name. Good coffee, speciality breakfast items, and tasty baked goods. Retro music is always playing. The shop supports a lot of local artists and hosts plenty of activities.

The coffee shop has a punk-rock kind of vibe. Its a popular hangout for Swarthmore University students. They have a pretty basic selection of beverages. I tried a hazelnut latte, but it wasnt the best. It didnt really taste like hazelnut.

Their coffee is excellent and the food is uniformly delicious. I have tried most of their sandwiches and they are all awesome. Their food takes a little longer for them to prepare but its a far cry from fast food so I cut them some slack.

Friendly service, usually not a long wait. Good coffee - not too bitter, certainly superior to Sbucks. Very convenient if youre taking the train from or to Swarthmore station. Limited outdoor seating, but what there is is mostly shaded.

All local, farm-fresh ingredients and house-made condiments. Breakfast, lunch, and brunch covered (all made-to-order) plus locally roasted and fresh coffee. Also good vibes and atmosphere from background music and staff

Coffee was phenomenal and complimented our breakfast very well. Nice variety of food, with lots of choices to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. I will surely return.

This is our favorite local coffee shop. I wish they still served dinner - the food was always amazing. They try to buy local food which scores big points with us.

Coffee is good, environment depends....If you like crowded places like Starbucks, then its okay. But if you are looking for somewhere quiet, then no...

I like their bagel sandwiches a lot, they are a good option for a quick lunch. The shop can get quite crowded during the school year.

Good coffee for the price. Sometimes the music is too loud though. Depending on who serves you, they could be very kind!
