If negative stars could be left they would get 10. I ordered fajitas from here once before and they were horrible plus did not have any vegetables in them. Just dry over cooked meat. I have loved on the Mexican border and been all over the U.S. And this is by far the worst excuse for Mexican food. I thought maybe it was just the fajitas that they were clueless about cooking so I ordered again. This time something different. Well same result over priced bland tasteless stuff and not much of at that. Good thing too cause we threw it out after just a couple bites!! I read the other reviews on here and all I can say is they are either family or people who have never eaten real Mexican food so they dont know any better. The food didnt even come with chips and salsa!? What Mexican restaurant doesnt give you chips and salsa? Maybe Taco Bell, they make better food though, it at least has flavor. Cheese is something else that Mexican food usually has and the menu said "cheese" but the food had maybe 5 little strings of dried cheese on it. In conclusion, dont waste your money here. Take a drive and find another place to eat. You will thank me.

I love El Cactus, it is one of my favorite take out places in town and its a great place to take a date or a few friends or collegues. Good for lunch or dinner the food is excellent and as close to authentic as Ive had! Staff is kind and service is good when theyre not super busy, which it can be at dinner. Take out is a great option. Prices are moderate.

Food was decent (very expensive for what you get) but the one taller waitress was in a FOUL mood with us. She kept rolling her eyes and was very short with us. We also heard her complaining to the shorter waitress about some other customers. This used to be one of our favorite places but after that, were in no rush to go back.

I took my gf here for lunch based on the reviews... I spent the rest of the day, and the next day, apologizing for how bad it was. It was bad, period. Everything tasted as if it came out of a can into a pot and boiled (including the meat). A friendly waitress though.

My wife and I together with another couple dine at El Cactus almost every Friday which speaks volumes. This past Saturday my wife hosted a bridal shower with 30 guests and El Cactus did a fabulous job supplying the food.We are so lucky to have such a gem in Souderton!

My family has been going to El Cactus for a long time now, and the food has always been delicious! The service is great, and the atmosphere is beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to find a good Mexican restaurant. Two thumbs up!

I dont live in this neck of the woods, but had this place recommended by friends who live in Souderton. I ate here with 3 other friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. Plan on going back in a few weeks when I return to this area.

This is a go to place for good Mexican American food. The chimichangas are my favorite item on the menu. Wait staff is always friendly and service is quick. The restaurant is a bit small and cramped so one star removed.

Outstanding authentic Mexican food and an amazing fresh salsa recipe that I cant quite seem to duplicate! Service is always as great as the food, and prices are very reasonable. Dont forget to bring your own!

They changed the menu and not for the better. I drive 45 minutes from home and it was worth it. Now it could be down the block and I wouldnt go there. The new wait staff was no better than the food.
