What a shame. My wife and I order food from here at least once a week for the last 4 years. Over the he past few months, the quality of food and service has declined significantly. I have spent a lot of time driving back having orders fixed and modified. This was our "go to" spot until last night. We orderd our usual friday night takeout, got home and started eating. I bit into something hard that was in my fried rice. I pulled it out and found it was a piece of metal. It looked like a piece of screen. I was absolutly livid so my wife calmly called and asked for the owner. My wife was very reserved, let her know what happened, and kindly asked for our next meal to be on the house. The owner flat out said no. I was so mad I wanted to drive in and preach to all the patrons in the restaurant what happened; but I didnt. The next afternoon, my wife drove there with the piece of metal and asked to talk to the owner. The owner pretty much said "what do you want me to do about this?" My wife said she wanted our next order to be free and the owner sternly said no again. One of the managers examined the piece of screen and when my wife asked for it back, he kept asking why and seemed worried and resilient. I cant believe the horrible customer service. We would have forgotten about this incident if they just acted like they cared. Especially for customers who have spent thousands of dollars there over the years. Safe to say we are done with them but I wanted to share my story. Thank god I didnt cut myself when chewing on it or this situation would be much worse for them.

Were regulars here. We get takeout on average once per week and often go for a quick lunch or a nice sit-down dinner. I cant think of a single time weve been disappointed. Eastern Dragon is a sign, along with the Starbucks a few blocks to the north, of how much Quakertown has changed since I moved here 25 years ago. This is the best Asian food in town. Eastern Dragon has both a Japanese and Chinese menu which would have bothered me years ago but Ive mellowed and they do both very well. Most of the dishes are standard fare and not particularly regional in nature. Ive never asked the owner where hes from but they cater to general public so you should be able to find something you like here. The sushi is fresh and very good; weve never been disappointed. Four stars to me equals Very Good.

The Eastern Dragon is my Go-To place for sushi. I have had sushi in New York City, the outskirts of the city, in Virginia, and one other place in Pennsylvania. The Eastern Dragon has the best tasting sushi I have ever eaten. What makes this type of food even better, it wont break your wallet. A roll is about $6-$7 for the non-fancy kind and includes eight pieces. As for the waitstaff, they are really what makes me come back for more. I have been coming here for 5 years and not once has there been an issue with my food that wasnt appropriately addressed. The waitstaff remember my name and my order along with my fiancés order and name. They take everything a notch above and care about the customer. One of the reasons I still live in this area is for their food and their sushi!

This place is THE BEST place to get Chinese in the Quakertown area. My kids love the food here, they always order chicken and broccoli and chicken noodle soup. Always very good quality within the food. Actually they prefer EasternDragons soups over mine! I love how they cook the food to perfection. The broccoli is never over cooked or under cooked, and its complimented with an amazing sauce. The chicken is always perfect, never too squishy/soggy or too hard. I used to live in NYC so i experienced many Chinese places throughout my lifetime. This place is the best in my book, so far. The service is fabulous, and the people are always nice and friendly. Highly recommended for people who are looking for good Chinese places in this area.

Having moved from the Montgomeryville area to the Quakertown area, I was happy to be able to continue going to Eastern Dragon, my favorite place to get sushi. This location however has different owners and they dont have the same dedication to quality as the location I was used to. I purchased some sushi today and will not be going back. The rice was overcooked mush and the fish had little flavor and a poor texture. I didnt even swallow it for fear of getting sick. When I first moved to the area a year ago the food here was alright. Not great, but theres not exactly a lot of choice for sushi in Quakertown. After my experience today I will make the long drive to Montgomeryville if I must satisfy a sushi craving.

First time eating here and I am glad I did. Went with family as a treat. I had the tuna avocado sushi roll and Singapore mei fun which has chicken, pork, and shrimp. The food was very fresh and had a nice presentation. The customer service was also great inspite of being so busy. They do not use MSG either and the food is still quite flavorful. They also have a large menu with something for everyone at a fair competitive price. This will now be my fiance and Is go-to place when in the area and maybe even for the occasional date night. I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you have never been.

This is the best Asian food in Upper Bucks. I have take out or a dinner I the lovely restaurant at least 3-4 times a month. They are always updating and improving the ambiance of the place. Nicest Asian restaurant Ive been to for years. The food is always fresh... And beautifully presented. Everyone is courteous and conscious about great customer service. I have never been disappointed and even called recently after a take out order to compliment the chef.... Ive never done that before!

I just called this place and instead of having a $50 dollar order, the young twerp girl said I couldnt get a side of coconut sauce, which by the way they have. She was rude, didnt speak English right and couldnt give a flying f**k. So I cancelled. If I was her boss, she would be gone. What the hell is wrong with this place??? This was today 24 Aug around 430pm. Hopefully I find a better takeout place, not run by children.

Their menu is divided into Chinese and Japanese sections. Not the most intuitive menu. The food is ok, not really better or worse than other asian restaurants( I do think it still is a good option around this area). I believe some of the menu items are a little overpriced for what they are. I personally like the quality of Japanese options a little better. The servers are not very inviting/friendly.

Dont let the look of the menu fool you, this is not your average Chinese take out. Delicious food, wonderful specials menu, and the best sushi for miles. The service is good enough, and the atmosphere is nice. I have been ordering from here for over a year and am never disappointed. Whenever I go inside, it is always packed, which tells you something.
