Very interesting reading everyones reviews. I have been here multiple times over the past year and have not noticed any meaningful variation between the quality of the food during this time. I love ramen and have tried our pretty much every joint from Philly to NYC. Naoki, while not top notch, is still very good. I typically order the chicken katsu ramen or the spicy akamaru. Both have very flavorful and fatty broths. The chicken katsu is always moist and tender. They add something to their soft boiled eggs because theyre amazing. Most places Ive been to have subpar eggs. Noodles are cooked well...never had overcooked noodles. Service is pretty standard. Food came within 10 minutes (actually timed this) and havent had any issues with waiting staff or managers. The restaurant is never packed when I visit.

Owner was pushy and abrasive. Greeted us by saying "Is there a problem?" Water was clearly from the tap and was full of a distinguishable Chlorine flavor. Was cold inside and freezing outdoors. Broth was flavorless egg was nice. I could make better Ramen with Dollar Store type Ramen. Towards the end, I asked to have my remaining broth packaged for take out and my buddy tells me he gave me a nasty look behind my back. Only ONE vegetarian option. Gave us our check before we were done eating. I asked for his name for this review and he said "For what?". When I told him about this review, he said and I quote "You dont need my name." Two stars only because at the end, he gave us a free soda (once he knew Id be writing a review).

We can here because we were craving for ramen but it was kind of a disappointment. The broth flavoring are a little fishy and mediocre. Besides that the noodles had a good texture and the meat was tender. Got the pork buns for an appetizer are a must though if you eat here. Probably the tastiest thing of my whole meal. The restaurant decor was nice. Very bright but the seating was kind of low for the table height. Maybe because Im a little shorter then most people but it wasnt very comfortable. Overall, I think there are better ramen spots around Philadelphia but I may return because its pretty close to were I live and it isnt as packed as the other ramen spot in Chinatown.

Honestly feel that the ramen here is better than that of terrakawa, the broth and noodles are much better in my opinion than that of terrakawa and the atmosphere is a lot comfier just because the tables are spread out well and its never over packed. They also always have little promotions since they just opened a few months ago. So yeah definitely worth the trip!

Pork Bun was fresh and delicious. I ordered Shrimp Katsu Ramen. Shrimp were large and perfectly fried. The ramen and broth were very good. As someone else mentioned, the soft boiled egg was really good. The place was very bright and clean, including the bathroom. The staff was very helpful and nice. Next time ramen calls, I will return to Naoki.

The overall experience was good. I felt that the food took a bit long to come out even though it wasnt really busy. My friends that I was with gave their respective ramen a 2 star. I want say mine was better, but it still is in the ok category.

Vast selection of Ramen of different variety and broths. Great Japanese fried rice and customer service. Would highly recommend to large parties and even people who wish to eat alone.

I have been to many noodle places. philly, los angeles, guam, hawaii and japan. This place is outstanding. The spicy ramen is not overwhelming but its very satisfying.

The broth was weak and they used what smelled like canned bamboo making the entire bowl smell of it...the chicken katsu was actually really good though.

I wish the ramen you buy in the store tasted as good as these bowls. The seafood ramen was so delicious!
