I went to establishment about a month ago and ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Got home and found a hair in my food, nasty .Called and asked to speak to the manager, he told me to bring it back,so I did.I showed him the hair, instead of Apologizing, they were more concerned about who hair it was, then trying to fix the problem. I retrieve my money and left,he was hott but I was hotter, because I was hungry, my food had hair in it,and I had to go somewhere else. Today I figured you know people make mistakes, so I go and order the same as I done in the past,a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. This I watched them make my food, what I seen was disgusting. I watched the cook prepare my food, then wrapped my food up, and hand it over to the what I guess was a severe, because when I came in she was sitting on the other side of the counter, with a jacket on looking like a customer, then a server. After my food was ready, came from the other side of the counter,I notice she had one of her fingers in her mouth, peasy then started scratching her neck and then bagged my food up with washing her hands, nasty ass!!! Not only just that,I guessed the cook was getting over whelmed with food orders,so he asked what seemed at the to be the dish washer, to come over to help.I seen the dishwasher scratch his peasy ass beard then start cooking the food, mind you nobody had on a hairnet, and they had on one glove, not 2,but 1.Now Ive been cooking for 20yrs or more, and have worked in a lot of establishments, and hairnets and gloves, along with beard guards is a must when your preparing or serving food.I brought this to to the managers attention, but all he did was get sarcastic, but never apologize for what happened. This need to be shut down and get management,if he get himself and his team in order. He need to take some business management classes ,so he can teach his staff how to properly serve and treat his guest. In this business, and most businesses the customers Always Right.

Initially wanted the Breakfast Boutique, but for some reason they were closed. Went to Dawns since it was only a few blocks away. I should turned around when I was assaulted by the smell of Fabuloso, or maybe I should have ran when I heard the customers across from me say that the ketchup was "sour"!! Anyway, stayed..., ordered food, and left with regrets. The ketchup at our table was sour as well. When we mentioned it, we were given ketchup packets and told by our waitress Robin that it "probably needs to be changed". The bacon was tasteless and rubbery. The French toast was bad, the syrup was watery. Our waitress Robin was blowing her nose BEHIND THE COUNTER WHERE THEY PREPARE THE FOOD. After staring at her for 5 minutes, she proceeded to splash water on her hands AT THE SAME SINK BEHIND THE COUNTER WHERE FOOD IS PREPARED..The waitresses were "arguing" over who should serve the set of customers whod arrived after me. One said "I should get this one because you had the last two". I can NOT make this stuff up! I wanted to send 80% of the good back, but my partner suggested we just pay, and never return. Look, I can NOT make this stuff up..., just save yourself the time and disgust and go someplace else.

It was my first time there. It was ok at first. But one of the younger girl servers was eating a platter while behind the counter instead of asking if me & my boyfriend wanted to order anything. He had to call out to her to even get a menu. A different person then started to help us. She was nice & friendly. We ordered to go. While eating my food at home, after the top piece of French toast was gone I saw a short strand of black hair on top of the second piece. It was too obvious to ignore. I was grossed out. My boyfriend called the store & was promised a new platter. We pick it up & head straight to work. Didnt get to look at it. Once open, there was only French toast in the container... Though I paid for French toast, eggs & turkey bacon... The food was delicious minus the fact that there was hair in it. But my boyfriend has already vowed that we were not going back lol.. The cooks seem cool, but dont wear hair nets...

Went to Dawns for breakfast on a Friday morning before heading to PennDot. I ordered chicken and waffles. My husband had scrapple, eggs, and French toast. The wait for the food was a bit long (approximately 25 minutes). Perhaps it was because I ordered chicken because there werent many ppl in the restaurant. The waffle was delicious. It was nice, fluffy and warm. My only takeaway was there was way too much butter on it. I would have preferred for them to put the butter on the side as opposed to on my waffle. My husband said the same about his French toast. There was so much butter on it to the point that it made the toast soggy. The chicken wings were bland and very hard. My husband didnt like his scrapple. It was a bit undercooked in his opinion. Overall, the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Customer service would get a 4, food would get a 2. Hence 3 stars overall.

Arrived today at 940am and left at 1020am after a long wait for breakfast for myself and my boyfriend. We started to leave but they told us the food was coming right up and chicken takes awhile. I had ordered the chicken and waffles and he had the dawns breakfast platter. We decided to have them box it and eat at home. Lucky for them that we did. There was no reason why his sausage and eggs could not have been served earlier. However his food came out good. My food when I opened the box. 3 chicken wings that do not take over a half hour to cook. They were not seasoned and fried very hard. The bones were black. The home fries were over cooked onions were black and bell peppers translucent. The waffle was over done as well. You made me wait to give me burnt food. Will never come here again.

Ive made a commitment to honor local business but Im struggling with the service: if you dont take credit cards, they why charge me $.50 for a glass of water with my meal, and did you notice they dont leave you with the check to see what you are being charged for, the cashier rings up the bill so fast that all you see is the total. This time I made sure I knew what I was being charged for (water?). Well my last time visiting here, whether go to a place that take plastic and dont charge me for water.

Stopped in because it was fairly empty and noticed that none of them that prepare the food washes their hands nor do they wear gloves or hair nets. I placed an order to go and sit there for almost 20 minutes and one of the other servers notices that my order was never actually placed with the cook. Sad part is the lady who did it didnt even apologize and just says i owe you a drink. Smh. Ill never stop here again no matter how hungry i am.

Was there on a Saturday, and noticed that the table in front of me was whispering and quietly left. Then I looked at the wall, only to notice roaches crawling down. The waitress literally came over, lifted her leg to kill one with her foot. Then turns to me to say, they are running wild because we sprayed last night. The manager/owner appeared to be unmoved.
